Large Tiled Fantasy Map

Description
A custom 60X80 (4,800) hexagonal tile map created in Worldographer. The large image size allows it to be scaled up quite a bit without losing detail.

I originally made this map for a D&D campaign I run, but feel free to use it for your own games. The map contains multiple biomes, such as forests, jungles, swamps, savannahs, deserts, badlands, tundras, and ashlands. The terrain is overlayed with several cities, towns, villages, and castles, with stone and dirt roads linking many of them. The large dark lines in the northern areas are meant to represent large walls. Each tile was originally meant to represent 6 miles, but as will all the previous information, feel free to interpret it how you wish.

@Tyrant is correct hgeere, my graphics card is older than it should be. You don't need to u-pload a newer resolution graphics card, I need to less potat device.

Hairball must have an older graphics card that can't load textures larger than 4096x4096. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do for him other than make this into a low-resolution map. I would rather this stay high resolution.

Likely simply due to the size of the file that needs to be loaded. I'm afraid the only solution to that would be a smaller image, which I could put up as a different workshop item.

this mod crashes my game before the map is even done loading

Thanks for the offer, but I think it should be good now. I just updated it with a new image that's only 5MB larger, but almost doubles the resolution to 9050x9306.

Please upload the full size file to my MEGA box here and I'll see what I can do to remedy this issue for you, so you're not forced into lossy downscaling:

Apologies for the missing file, I misinterpreted the tutorial I was following.

Unfortunately, after failing to upload my file to the Cloud or Imgur, and failing to load from Dropbox, I found that the only valid solution was to decrease the image resolution in order to lower the file size, from 125MB to 80MB. But while the board will be a little less clear when scaled up or zoomed in on, it should at least actually be visible this time.

Points to a file on your harddrive: file:///D:\Worldographer\maps\AavendyFullLarge.png

TTS mods require assets be hosted via URL for anyone but you to see them. A good way to do this is by using the in-game Cloud Manager. There is a button for uploading all loaded files, which automatically replaces the asset with the URL once finished. (Bear in mind for the future, this doesn't work for anything in bags since assets in bags are not 'loaded', and it also doesn't work for Custom Table images for no apparent reason.)
