The Heir Class Mod

Description

=== Summary ===

First ever mod, yaaay. The Heir is a healer/damage dealer based in the backline. She uses occult magic and channels it through her book.

"Born too late to enjoy the family's once plentiful luxury, The Heir was instead raised within a cult. Growing up learning the same research that drove her Ancestor mad, The Heir instead has drawn power from the ancient incantations, deadly to foes and able to provide uncoventional healing to her teammates."

Thank you for the feedback! I'm working on a new icon for her now! As for the art, yea it's a bit desaturated, and I tried my best to saturate it more, but I'll work at it! That one is probably gonna take a bit but I'll do my best :)

Been interesting so far. Need to give her a few more tries, but here's some feedback!

-Ability frames (during attacks, etc.) are amazing! Well done on the designs!

-Colors - in all frames, and animations - feel "desaturated", if that makes sense.
Color-wise, she just seems to look "simpler" than other classes, included modded classes.
Design's is fine, but colors just need more... *oomph*.
I'm not an artist, but.. maybe more shading? Maybe more color grading? Sorry I can't detail more here, but it just feels like something's missing on coloration.

-Didn't spot a COM trinket - assuming there's no Crimson Court Trinkets either.
Are trinkets in the works?

As stated in my previous comment: thank you so much for this.
My feedback comes from a place of adulation, as this is still an excellent mod (especially for a first mod!). Just want to see it become the best it can be, too, hence the criticism.:cozyovercooked2:

Very well done!

Her action sprites seems brighter than her idle animation and her head is bigger in the portrait than the rest of the classes.

Always great to see new class mods! At first I thought the name of this class referred to the Heir to the Ancestor's estate, i.e. the unseen player character, but this looks interesting as well.

Although my first impressions were a bit of a missed mark, akin to a weaker and less utility based antiquarian, I have given an overhaul to make her a fun, useful, and generalist backline healer.

Please consider implementing my change!

Look pretty cool - looking forward to giving it a shot. :)

Looks also like a great amount of work went into this!
So want to say (even before trying it): thank you so much for this. Effort like this is what makes modding communities so excellent!
