CSGO HOSTAGE MODE GUIDE

So this is a guide to playing a gamemode called Hostage mode. This is a somewhat unkown gamemode that is pretty fun,so here is a guide to make sure when you start playing you know how to play.

BASIC GAME IDEAS: So the basic idea is there are 2 teams Counter Terrorists,and Terrorists.The Terrorist strategy is to prevent all counter terrorists from taking the hostages, while counter terrorists are to rescue 1 or more hostages and bring them back to the rescue zone which is the CT spawn. So here is how you win
CT can win by either rescue 1 or more hostages,or kill all Ts.
T it's to either run down the time or kill all CT'S

MAPS:Their currently are 5 maps,Office, Agency, Assault, Italy, and Militia.

Office

The most well known and loved map, it is the Dust 2 of Hostage mode. The map is decently balanced with just a slight advantage to Terrorists. The map is almost all indoors and is a fast pace style of play where, AWP, shotguns, and grenades are very useful tools.

NOTES: Cross is also sometimes known as side hall,and Garage windows is generally just called windows, and projector is sometimes called conference.

Agency

Agency is most likely the best map in terms of balance. Added to the game in Operation Hydra, this is compared to other hostage maps is very new. It has large open spaces and small rooms taking place on top of a sky scraper like Vertigo. It is almost entirely indoors but be careful as you can fall off to your death.

Note: Toilets is also called Bathrooms

Italy

Italy is while not the worst it is far from perfect. The map has it's far share of stupid camping spots, stupid angles, and pixel walks and other map exploits. But it is still playable and can be quite fun

NOTE:Stairs room is more commonly called crack house, and House and Bedroom is called apartments, I can't stress this enough always say APARTMENTS, NO ONE WILL KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!

Militia

Militia is also a very old map and for over a year was taken out of the game along with Vertigo, But during the Winter of 2018 It was added back as part of the Christmas update, with the changes being it now has snow ,and it takes place a night/dusk. I guess either valve decided they liked the map or just forgot to take it out but for the meantime it's here to stay.

NOTES:There is no updated call out map so let me explain.
Tunnel DOES NOT go to barn anymore ,it now ends at garage. Area has a small hut called Chicken coop sometimes called crack house, CT spawn is now in field, and Bridge and Descent are no longer
Accessible.

Assault

For real worst for last. Assault is a terribly balanced map that is so T sided the only way for CT to win is T side are all silver 1 while all of CT is Global Elites. Almost the entire map can be wall banged. T side with a negev can kill CT at their spawn.

NOTE: Their is a roof on the warehouse where CT can snipe through windows and a ventilation shaft called ducts that goes from roof into hell but if you a CT and go inside 9/10 times you will die to a T camping with a shotgun at point blank range
