Description
[3.6.X+] This mod allows your planets to declare population controls automatically when they start to fill up.

The actual population control type used is based on your population controls policy, and whether you are a hivemind or a machine empire or not. So if you disallow population controls as a regular empire for example, the mod uses discourage growth. Robot assembly controls are also declared if you allow robotic workers.

Automatic population controls can be customized with the following policies:
  • APC - Limit growth at
    • No housing - Population controls are declared for planets that have less than one unit of housing available. Controls are disabled when more housing becomes available.
    • 4 unemployed or no housing - Population controls are declared for planets that have 4 unemployed pops or less than one unit of housing available. Controls are disabled when unemployment drops or when more housing becomes available.
    • No jobs - Population controls are declared for planets that have no free jobs available. Controls are disabled when more jobs become available.
    • Never - Population controls are never enabled or disabled automatically. (default)
  • APC - Free slots
    • Never limit planets with free slots - Population controls are never declared for planets with free slots for districts or buildings. (default)
    • Ignore free slots - Population controls can be declared for planets with free slots for districts or buildings.
  • APC - Pop types to limit
    • Organics and machines - The growth of both organic and mechanical pops is controlled. (default)
    • Organics only - Only the growth of organic pops is controlled.
    • Machines only - Only the growth of mechanical pops is controlled.

Bonus Stuff
This mod also enables granting migration rights to robots, which allows them to automatically migrate to other planets. This is just a quick and possibly dirty stop-gap fix for robo-migration, until Paradox fixes it themselves. :)

at hessuu_apc_species_rights.txt add ( token = migration_control_no ) under migration_control_no line

so this mod is broken for non beta 3.5.3 Fornax

this mod causes problem sins last update which weirdly made for 3.6 (which is in beta) causes tooltip error in no migration controls at species rights and make it not selectable.

why would you update mod for beta?

Moving slaves (and biothrophies and rulers and specialists) would be awesome, but sadly the Stellaris modding framework lacks a way to detect slave jobs specifically. We only get to see if a planet has *any* jobs available.

PS. The mod probably works with 2.8.X, but I'll try to update it when I have the time. :)

Would be nice to add migration for Slaves. example when slave jobs are x then migrate slaves. slaves jobs are show as -x number so maybe have option to move them at -5 like population growth can stop at 5 and no housing
