So, the great game of Day Of Defeat Source. This fun, addictive multiplayer FPS from Valve is one of my favourite WWII franchises, apart from Brothers In Arms. For those who are new to this game, this guide is for you.

Introduction
Day Of Defeat Source, although more advanced than the original, has fewer classes and factions. There is no british anymore, and the classes are sorted differently. There are six classes per faction, and only two factions. The U.S. Army are the Allies, and the Wehrmacht are the Axis in this game. The classes are Riflemen, Assualt, Support, Sniper, Machine Gunner and Rocketeer. These classes and their uses are explained below.
Riflemen
BOTH
USE : Long range combat, as they lack in close range combat
ALTERNATE FIRE : Ironsight for the primary

Not mentioning how the versatility of each side's weapons for each class can vary greatly in different situations, alternative uses that are about just as good for the primary roles of each class, and more information about what to do for a specific class is a tragedy. Pretty poor low effort guide. I could write this all up effortlessly in 10 minutes. Even if you only have 32 hours you still have enough experience to put that information in and make this guide 10x more informative to new players.

I.E.; MG42 better at spraying, way more rps, but can overheat, 30 Cal. better at consistent fire but isn't nearly as much of a balling ghettoblaster for lead dumping into smoke and general use. You can also even use them undeployed for extremely close quarters encounters just be prepared to drag your mouse all the way down your mousepad to compensate for recoil.

i do think mentioning rate of fire could be important in giving more detail to how the weapons play.

Masterpiece Game All Of Times ! If Valve Do Not Cancelled To Day Of Defeat 2 in 2012-2015 Times. Would Become Best WW2 Game All Of Times ! Better Than Call Of Duty After 2013 and 2017 and 2022 !

eh the sniper has a little more use than taking out machine guns. Just in general there a bit better for super long range combat. rifleman is good for a more aggressive style of long range combat (if that makes sense)
