I.E.; MG42 better at spraying, way more rps, but can overheat, 30 Cal. better at consistent fire but isn't nearly as much of a balling ghettoblaster for lead dumping into smoke and general use. You can also even use them undeployed for extremely close quarters encounters just be prepared to drag your mouse all the way down your mousepad to compensate for recoil.
i do think mentioning rate of fire could be important in giving more detail to how the weapons play.
