Yes tou can drop a mining probe and abandon the system. The probe will continue mining. But be careful, because the duration is limited and you have cooldowns before dropping another one.
Even if doable, what you're planning may not be effective.
So... i'm new to the new version, so i ask stupid questions. Can you DROP a mine probe and leave it? Moving Behemoth ship elsewhere for multiple purposes? Say, is possible to build the Economic with mining modules, have few different mine mods and drop one system #4, and drop another on System #5 and than park Behemoth on system/node #6 which is a blackhole? and allow it to soak up resources while mining probes working independently?? I read they are independant of the ship? So that means you can drop and GO?
PS: Very nice guide, thanks!
Don't heshitate telling me any big mistake.
