The western continent of Aeros carries much historical weight for the Europeans. Catholic, western, and prosperous, the Aerosi nations of the Khindar, Udas, and Corcáin regions are every bit as much of a force to be reckoned with as their eastern European brethren. Meanwhile, a mysterious people reside west in "The Eley", an ancient impact basin the size of France, and cut off from contact with the rest of the world for millennia.

• The continent of Aeros consists of 1554 brand new provinces, many of which are highly desirable colony locations

• The Eley, the mysterious homeland of they so-called "Godking" Caelor, has 459 provinces, protected by four narrow mountain ranges.
• Two new government types: the Caelorate controls his subjects, the Aymari, who have faithfully followed their king since his 'decendence from heaven' nearly one and a half millennia ago.
• Naturally, Caelorism is the only religion in the Eley.
