While Tibet is often seen as ascetic and peaceful in popular conception, this belies the drama that resides in the annals of Tibetan history. Tibet is a land that has seen expansionist empires, powerful theocracies, and desperate rebellions, all hidden in the plains, valleys, and mountains that make up the inhospitable Tibetan plateau.

Among the most celebrated figures in Tibetan history are the "Dharma Kings" who supported Buddhism and helped it to take root in Tibet. And probably the most important of all the Dharma Kings is Trisong Detsen: the king who threatened both the Tang Dynasty and the Abbasid Caliphate

Tibet:

Unique Ability: Roof of the World - Citizens may work Mountain tiles. Mountain tiles receive yields from districts within 2 tiles: +2 Food from City Centres, and +1 of the appropriate yield from other districts. May purchase buildings with Faith in specialty districts next to Mountains. Cities with an established Governor receive +5% Faith for each promotion that Governor has.

Unique Unit: Rta Pa - Tibetan unique Renaissance era ranged cavalry unit. Has a a Range of 1, but can move after attacking. No Movement penalty in hill terrain. Unlocks with Astronomy.

Unique District: Dzong - Tibetan unique district replacing the Holy Site district. Cheaper to build. Awards +1 Governor Title when built adjacent to at least 4 Mountains. Buildings in the Dzong district are 20% cheaper to purchase with Gold and Faith. Occupying unit receives +10 Defense Strength. Must be built on a Hill.

Trisong Detsen:

Leader Ability: Capture of Chang'an - +1 Great General points in cities with both an Encampment and a Dzong. Land combat units in those cities begin with a free promotion if the city has a Worship Building.

Agenda: Great Enlightened, Miraculous, Divine Lord - Aims to achieve Golden Ages and high levels of Faith, and respects those who do the same. Dislikes civilizations in a Dark Age, or who are low in Faith

The restriction on Dzong placement is also kinda weird. Even if I find a nice mountainrange there's a big chance I won't be able to utilize it properly. I don't want to have to change the map type to make use of his abilities.

I can't seem to spawn next to more than two mountains. Being a seemingly mountain-oriented civ this seems like an oversight when it comes to spawn priorities? Or is it intentional? Feels kinda bad to not be able to make use of his abilities....

Having a blast playing this civ in a faith domination game. But honestly, this civ is way overpowered. It would be busted even with like two abilities removed.

Rta Pa doesn't benefit from the XP bonus provided by either the Barracks or the Stable or any of the subsequent Encampment upgrades.

Nice mod! But the adjacency bonus of Dzong is unstable, so tibet can't get +6 Dzong like Russia or Japan. This makes tibet looks great but not strong enough as a religion civ.

The neighboring city's Campus on a hill just completed, and did buff the nearby mountains, so it's very likely an undocumented feature (or bug?) involving hills.

Loving this civ. Campus not giving bonus to adjacent mountain. Is it because the campus isn't on a hill?
