The next morning I awoke to find myself on a deserted island... I read a letter by the Captain in a chest. Hopefully I will find a way off this rock and back to Civilization..."

In this Island Mod you are to salvage what you can from both halves of your ship.
Build a small town and a new Boat, then find a way back home. The soil samples on the ground should guide you.

how do u exit the map? i have the ship built and everything

ok so my main problem was i was not getting any iron from salvaging the ships for a while. it was in there and i am sorry for thinking they were not! yes i am having fun with this mod now

use both parts of the ship with pickaxe or wood axe found in chests. equip either. then you can build using workbench. build smelter, grain mill, and forge separately. you can then smelt the iron daggers into iron ingots found in chests. each mined item is random. glass, driftwood, cloth on one ship, the other (AFT) has iron, glass and driftwood. use cloth for beds; straw is in chests for making roof or bedding.

i had a small issue to where i had no way of building anything. i had no way of making a smelter to get iron that way. so i was stuck on the island only capable of getting drift wood and glass. not everyone carries ingots on them

ok, seems to work as you intended. Only real issue I found was with my reforestation project. Some of my tree's ended up in my shack, blocking the farmhouse doorway, and the location to exit the map. Still it all worked as you intended, and I will rebuild everything, and be a bit more careful where I try to put my trees.

ok, so I did figure out the smelting. Works well, and shack aside, Jaxonz positioner and straw bales make for a decent floor filling, and thatching for the roof. A bit of resizing, and copy and move. Adjust rotation to accomodate the angle of the roof, and looks decent inside. Can't speak for outside yet.
