SD's No Arrested Development

Description
This tiny little mod just removes the trait "Arrested Development". For some reason I seem to be cursed and all my governors invariably get this trait right away. Its infuriating, so I just made the annoying trait go away. Machine empires seem to get "Rigid programming" 80% of the time too, but that's less annoying. Anyway, this just gets rid of that one annoying trait and that's it.

This mod misses a vanilla update that causes one little bug, fine other than that.

Adding follows will fix that.

leader_trait_dragonbane = {
cost = 1
modification = no
icon = "gfx/interface/icons/traits/leader_traits/leader_trait_glory_seeker.dds"
self_modifier = {
species_leader_exp_gain = 0.25
leader_skill_levels = 1
}
leader_potential_add = {
NOT = { from = { has_ethic = "ethic_gestalt_consciousness" } }
}
leader_class = { admiral scientist general governor }
leader_trait = all
initial = no
randomized = no
}

Thank you so much for this mod.
I am just playing a Hive Mind empire and none of my governers ever got past level 5. I even had a governer recruited on level 2 only for him to get this f*ing trait two month later.
Oh great, an 18 year old level 2 gov who can't level up in the remaining 110ish years of his life... :/

I haven't gotten this often as an Organic, but as an ME, I get it 95% of the time. I sometimes wonder if it's even possible to get something else, meanwhile with a normal organic civ, I only get it 5% of the time. Carefree and Stubborn might as well be the same damn thing, but those mostly only happens due to certain anomaly events.

It is completely functional as is. It *may* recieve a version number change but is functionally unnecessary.

Heya, any chance you could update this to 2.2.6?

Oh go right on ahead, its pretty simple stuff. All my mods are free for anyone to use or modify as they please.

mind if I use your code as a base to axe it myself then?
