The Last Samurai
I made this mod after watching the Last Samurai movie. So all the units are inspired in the film characters. This mod includes 3 units!!
1st unit: Hirotaro: He was the husband of Taka. He nearly killed Tom Cruise. When I saw him in the movie, with his incredible red armor, I thought “well, I have to do this unit”. So here you have it. Now lets talk about specifications: it’s an amazing cavalry unit, amazing charge, incredible in melee, good arrow resistance, good speed… In fact, I have designed this unit to be perfect against fots gunners. Because if you fight with Hirotaro against shogun 2 units, or even my shogun 2 heroes, Hirotaro will completely win almost without having casualties. So I would recommend them for using in custom battles in which you have gunners in the opposite army (if they have a traditional army, then you will kill them easily). Hirotaro fights with a katana while his men fight with yaris.
Nobutada: The son of Katsumoto, you will see him just like in the movie: with his golden armor, and his bow. They are the best archers ever in the game: they shoot really fast, extremely good accuracy, very good in melee… Are they as good as Hirotaro in melee? Nope, but haha, probably we would take a lot of Hirotaro’s men before he would reach them with his arrows. But also, he has less armor (anyway, his armor continues being amazing) so use them wisely.
Both units are balanced with fots.

3rd unit: Samurai hero horsemen: This unit works for genpei. They are 20 men but they are really heroes. Because when I used the Samurai hero included in the game, I was like “what? Just 80 taken with ranged combat and 4 in melee??” it had to change, so that’s why I created this unit. This unit maybe it’s a little bit overpowered since the Genpei units are some kind of crappy but beautiful. So that’s why I decided to create a Genpei unit. I had never done one, so here you have it.

Obviously, for this mod you need: ROTS, SHOGUN 2 AND FOTS.
