AW101 Merlin (Outdated)

Based on the real life AW101(EH101) Merlin helicopter. This is a twin jet engine powered aircraft with rescue, personnel transport and light cargo delivery capabilities. It's a pretty straightforward aircraft and isn't difficult to fly.

Thanks to Powertampa for safe engine logic and Jeffe for altitude hold logic.

- Starboard exterior winch for rescue operations

- Retractable search light (angle adjustable)

- Cabin door and engine starter batteries are independently wired.

- Top speed : 67 knots
- 2 crew, 5 passenger seats
- 1 medical bed



1. Turn on engine start
2. Wait 60 seconds or till engine RPM reaches 2000+
- Initial throttle is set at 40 and doesn't require more power for flight
- Battery generator automatically engages at 200 RPM
3. Release landing gear brakes
4. Tap W to exit hangar
5. Press Up to lift off
6. Fly off into the sunset
