Always On Top Achievement Guide

This an achievement guide for "Always On Top" This is an achievement where you perform every ground execution in the game.

Blunt Weapon Executions

The first blunt weapon execution will be:
The Baseball Bat. It's a very regular weapon in Hotline Miami used by the Russian Gangsters.


The other blunt weapon is a pool cue. This appears it certain places mostly near the pool tables in certain levels. This pool cue can be broken and that also has an excution. Both required to complete the achievement.

Another one is the pot
It has a special execution which pours out the boiling water onto the enemy's face, burning them, and then the pot will turn empty after the execution.


Sledgehammer
The sledgehammer will pulverise the head of the downed enemy.


Briefcase
The briefcase will only appear on the first level, Metro. It is given by the dead man, with the green trench coat. Like the drill, one hit can knock down any enemy.

Blades / Sharp Objects Executions

Knife
The knife is the first blade you ever get. It's a fast swingin', throat cuttin', mean son of a gun. He's also the little brother of the blades. Dennis, The Wolf, also carries this weapon with him.

Katana
The Katana is also known as a "Samurai Sword", you lunge your sword into the enemy's skull, thus cutting into their brain, and ending their life. He's the big brother of the blades.

Machete
The Machete is the in between the family of blades. He resides in the middle. Between the Katana, and above the Knife.


Fireaxe
The fireaxe uses the same animation as the katana, but it makes them bleed more. But apprently that counts, too.


Drill
The drill can only be used by Carl, the grasshopper. Which is found in the Disco level. It can be found on a dead body in the middle of the first level, surronded by 3 russians with guns.

Throwing Weapon Executions

Dart
Simple enough. Just make sure they don't get in the way of the board, we're trying to play a game here!

Glass Bottle
This bottle breaks upon impact, and breaks when you use the execution. One time only weapon.

Brick
It simply does not move, the world moves for it. The Brick never stops.


Hammer
Stop, hammer time! No seriously stop, that hammer's speeding right at you. No, seriously freakin' move!

Scissors
Don't run with 'em

To knock down an enemy, simply hit him with a flying object (right click) or punch him.

Takedowns you missed:

1) Pipes (there are 2 tipes of them, one longer and one shorter. They're both gray).
1) Frying pan on the second floor of the 5th chapter.
2) The police baton (can be found in chapter 13).

ive done every executions so far but i still havent gotten the achievements

You forgot the crowbar, it only spawns on mission 5, full house

@BadKarMa Best level for pool cues is Clean Hit, just go to the first door on the left and there's one right there as well as two baddies to use it on. The pot with water is on the left side of the second floor of Overdose. The frying pan in Full House is technically different than the one with water in it, so make sure to do all of the executions for them.

I had to use the frying pan in chapter 5 too for this to unlock, not just the one with water in it.

I think this guide is missing the level names. In which levels do you find pool cues or the pan? Which levels are especially good to train for it. Which mask (Charlie?) ... and so on. Otherwise quite helpful.

Gotten all of these, still no achievement
