Intro
For some unusual reason, the North Trans-Pennine route does not have an achievement for finding enough of the collectables. I couldn't guess why considering the collectables aren't bad or horrifically broken, but I'll make a guide anyway.

Surprisingly, we once again have 100 collectables to find, probably thanks to the good length and decent number of stations the route has to offer. This time there's a mix of collectables at the stations and out on the track, but the location of everything is all pretty predictable, so it's not too difficult to work with.

Also, that magic 100 isn't a lie either-you can actually find 100 collectables. Nothing's missing, and it seems nothing's extra either.

Here from XBOX or PS4? As I have been told, collectables are exactly the same on PC or console, feel free to share this guide to anyone on consoles!
The Collectables
Once again, we must know what to look for before starting. If you want to go find things on your own, you should at least consult this section so you know what is going on.

Like prior routes, there are yet again 4 types of collectables to find, and 100 in total to find. That's above the average of 82.5 collectables per route.

Trees

A new collectable this time around, the fallen trees are around just about everywhere on the route except station platforms, making a mess and possibly acting as a driving hazard in some situations.

An uncollected tree is a single big log laying on its side. Walking up to it (note that you may need to walk all over it for anything to happen) will chop up the log and leave a pile of shorter logs behind.
Uncollected
Collected
There are 40 trees to find, the most of any collectable on the route.

Newspapers

Another new collectable, the newspapers are only at station platforms. In fact, the other two collectables down there are only at stations platforms as well. These aren't that easy to find though, as they are quite small.

An uncollected newspaper stand is this little frame with "news express" printed on its sign, with 3 newspapers on the bottom shelf. Walking up to it will add a big bundle of 12 newspapers to the top shelf.
Uncollected
Collected
Also like the other two collectables left, there are 20 newspapers in total.

Posters

Returning once more, we have the poster. This one's a bit different than some others because it's railroad themed, and it's actually real. While also being a bit tongue-in-cheek as British Rail food service was infamously...gross.

Like many collectables in this style, an uncollected poster is just a frame with a blank background. Walking up to the frame will apply the poster to the backgrond.

And again, there are 20 of these to find.

Maps

Then the true staple of collectables comes up again. The route maps are as typical as ever, showing up only at station platforms, and giving a map of just the route featured.

As should be expected, and uncollected map is just a frame with a blank poster. Walking up to the collectable will then apply the map texture.

And again, there are 20 maps around.
#1 Manchester Victoria
We begin the guide in the South, and will (generally) head Northward from here. It's probably a good idea to grab a loco hauled service so you can hop between the stations nice and fast, but don't forget the trees in between stations, which are included in the section about the nearest station.

Manchester Victoria is the Southern terminus of the route, and is the biggest station on the line. It should then be no real surprise that Manchester Victoria has plenty to find; 1 newspaper, 3 posters, and 3 maps.

#2 Miles Platting
As the first smaller station we will encounter, Miles Platting sets the "1 newspaper, 1 poster, 1 map" trend for most of the normal stations, with 4 collectables nearby, 1 tree, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, and 1 map.

Newton Heath Depot
And since it's close by, I gotta give a shout to Newton Heath and it's one tree to collect.

#3 Park
Another smaller station, so the usual 3 station collectables with some trees on the nearby mainline... Park has 2 trees, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, and 1 map.

#4 Ashton-under-Lyne
Ashton-under-Lyne is the first station to have some proper mainline distance, so it begins the very typical set of 6 collectables, configured where there are 3 trees, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, 1 map.

#5 Stalybridge
Stalybridge is one of those more 'medium-sized' stations, but even then it follows the usual pattern. 3 trees on the mainline, one of everything else at the station, so get used to seeing 3 trees, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, and 1 map in this case.

#6 Mossley
Another normal station, you should know the drill. 3 trees, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, and 1 map.

#7 Greenfield
Greenfield continues the fairly familiar typical pattern of things. Yet again, it's 3 trees, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, and 1 map.

#8 Marsden
Marsden ever so slightly changes up the usual setup by having one less tree nearby, with one extra newspaper to compensate. This time you have 2 trees, 2 newspapers, 1 poster, and 1 map.

#9 Slaithwaite

#11 Deighton
And once more we get a twist on the usual setup at Deighton. This time, we have an extra tree and newspaper, which makes for 4 trees, 2 newspapers, 1 poster, and 1 map.

#12 Mirfield
For being a station right on a big and fast mainline, Mirfield is quite empty by collectables standards. It has just 1 tree and 1 newspaper.

#13 Ravensthorpe
Ravensthorpe is another station that's almost normal. Just one less tree than usual...so 2 trees, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, and 1 map.

#14 Drewsbury
When you get out here, stations start getting closer together, so there's less room for trees. Thus, we only have one of each collectable around Drewsbury. 1 tree, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, and 1 map.

#15 Batley
The trend of fewer trees continues at Batley. Once again there's just 1 tree, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, and 1 map.

#16 Morley
Things spread out for one last jaunt toward Leeds, so Morley has a fairly typical set of 3 trees, 1 newspaper, 1 poster, and 1 map.

#17 Leeds
And we finally get to Leeds City. As the second terminus of the route, Leeds has plenty to find, 9 collectables in all. 3 trees, 2 newspapers, 2 posters, and 2 maps.

Outtro
Well, that's not too bad after all. The ones at stations are always quite easy, and the whole tree thing was predictable enough. I gotta wonder why they didn't do an achievement this time around considering the collectables actually work. None of this extra/not enough collectable malarky this time!

And since you made it to the bottom here, please leave a rating on these guides. Nobody other than you is going to notice the guide if it doesn't have those green stars that you get around 30 ratings. Also, google seems to do a very bad job of finding these guides, so don't underestimate word of mouth for letting people know of this stuff.
