Across the Mountains

Description
This is a hard climb logging map. When I first started testing it; sliding off cliff faces, flipping over backwards, wagon loads of logs landing on top of my truck,... I felt I definitely needed to tone it down some. But as I kept playing it I grew to like it as it was, the challenge of it, and now I keep playing it.

All the climbs/descents are steep, one being very steep. Where there is gravel there are rocks strewn about, and at the bases of the climbs. I tried to provide enough trees along the climbs to winch to.
The road ends in a water pocketed valley, in the valley is a log station and kiosk, the kiosk is close to a fuel station and has a fire tower next to it to help find it.

Ausmanis: I released the sequal to it. It is named 'Across the Mountains Extreme'; it is extreme compared to this one. I'm still tweaking on it because I have a hard time getting around the map just to look at it from the players perspective.
I look forward to finishing the tweaking of it so I can attempt to complete it myself.

Hey sean300bc. When I saw these hills I felt like a poodle who'd walked into a rottweiler's backyard, awesome and frightening. I knew I was in serious territory. You'd have to think of something more shocking than this or it would be a let down like most movie sequels, the 1st one's usually the best. I'll leave that up to you. Good Luck :2018bestaward:

I've been thinking about making a sequal to it. I would like to make something challenging for those who has learned to navigate this one.

When I read the description and comments I thought this sounds like it might be a bit extreme. I soon saw your hills and they were insanely steep, but not insurmountable . . . eventually. I had held the controller so hard for so long that when it was over my fingers were aching and cramping with pain. I enjoyed it though. It felt satisfying to be a part the special journey you created. Thank you very much.
I recorded the drive from the Log Station to the last Mill as evidence of your what twisted mind inflicted upon gamers just looking for a good time :104:

SHoeInTurd sean300bc what was ya thinkin. This map is so cruel it's ridiculous. Love it. After spending 3hrs on another dangerous water map.(Sorry not 1 of yours Haha ): I start on this get to the first hill top n over I go (literally) 4 nose rolls n a bath at the end. Thanks a fn lot I really enjoyed it..?? Did manage to get a truck to log station tho eventually, now I gotta get it back full, Fug. Mate keep em commin.
