Description
11 female and 12 male replacement portraits for the standard 5 female and 5 male human characters.

They use the standard animations and alpha mask from the original portraits so they should be compatible with clothing and hair mods as long as they don't change or replace the characters.

This mod only changes the characters face and body and does not add any clothing and/or hair.

The mod is achievements compatible as well as save game compatible.

The mod shouldn't change the version number of the game so it should work with multiplayer without everyone needing the mod.
(Haven't had time to try multiplayer yet so can't be 100% sure.)

If you are looking for a ST: New Horizons version of this mod you can find it here: ST: New Horizons Remastered Human Portraits

For people that need the old load order before the changes on 9th of January 2019 because of incompatibility with other mods there is a version with the legacy load order that can be found here: Remastered Human Portraits Legacy Mod Load Order

If you want cyborgs with your humans you might want this version:
Remastered Human Portraits Expanded

If you want cyborgs and humans as a separate species you can find the expanded standalone mod here: Remastered Human Portraits Expanded Standalone

@Revolver Ocelot: The clothing is from the Human Variety mod

Whats the mod you used for the pale woman's armor in the cover photo?

A bit of a shame, but it was merely curiosity that made me ask, as I was away from Stellaris for a good while and noticed some changes.
Thank you - it's too bad that there is no "hair only" version, as I like some of the vanilla outfits (mostly the imperial uniform), but it shouldn't be difficult to mod it myself.
Thank you kindly for your reply

@Griffin01: Hi, Glad you like the mod. I do not have any legacy files to upload for this I'm afraid. The only changes there have been is some skin color changes in the beginning and 3 new faces added later on. No change in the code other then changing of the version number it supports.
The hair and clothing used in the image is from the Human Variety mod.

First of all, great work! I have been using the mod for a while, and the portraits are quite the eye candy. That said, I have 2 questions:
1) Do you perhaps have legacy mod versions handy somewhere? If so, could you upload them? I would like to compare/contrast them with the current version, if that's not an issue
2) Where did you get the hairstyles used in the screenshots?

@Ackoli: I agree. At least they are an improvment.
