@ShaggyHair, I managed to do it by extracting the bin with 7zip, then I was left with a legacy file, I changed the file extension to a .gma file (I actually added .gma extension because the file didn't have any extension whatsoever), and then used the gmpu (gmod publishing utility to extract that). TBH I don't know how i figured that out, but it actually worked flawlessly.
