Notes: My previous GTX 1060 6gb does well on 1080p Ultra with no Hairworks on this game. But the GTX 1070 obviously does even better and it just beats the 1060 6gb easily in all scenarios. By 30 - 50%.

If you are playing with 1060 6gb I recommend 1080p Ultra. But honestly, you can play at 1440p with it too but not Ultra settings. Mix of between High and Ultra more like, with no hairworks of course. you'll get something like 50 - 60 FPS with overclock. That was the settings i'm personally playing at with my previous 1060 6gb Overclocked.

For the GTX 1070 overclocked. Unless if you have 120hz Monitor and wants to play near 100 FPS all the time at Ultra settings 1080p. And really does wants to play it at that. Then maybe that could work. Just make sure your CPU is gonna handle more than 100 FPS. I honestly recommend instead that you play at 1440p Ultra settings with this card. You'll get 60 - 70 FPS with that. Again no Hairworks with that one. And in my opinion it's worth it more since you'll get crispier textures and better visuals, and you'll still get above 60 FPS.
