Description
An empire pack that implements various races and societies from ArenaNets fantasy games "Guild Wars" and "Guild Wars 2" as space-faring civilisations.

Mod Version: 0.95
Current Empire Count: 40 / 46
Achievement Compatible: No
Requires DLC: No. However, each DLC you own will expand the features of the mod.

I'm trying to make each addition believable in the context of Guild Wars lore and also Stellaris, but it's probably best to have played Guild Wars to really get the most satisfaction here.

Each new empire has:

~ A country for you to play either as or against.
- - - - - - Countries have carefully considered authorities, ethics, lore descriptions, civics, traits, origins, flags and home-worlds.

~ Custom Room Art
- - - - - Featuring recognisable and memorable art from Guild Wars locations.

~ Custom Personalities
- - - - - This means new lore on the contacts screen UI.
- - - - - Substantive AI behaviour tuning, the AI plays each empire differently to vanilla - they act as you expect from Guild Wars lore.

~ Custom Name-lists
- - - - - This includes ship names, planets, leaders and armies.
- - - - - Also custom governments and ruler titles for more even more flavour.

~ Custom Diplomacy
- - - - - Every empire has 13 custom greetings and diplomacy texts, based on their relationship with you.
- - - - - With some special interactions (planned) between relevant empires. (e.g Black Lion Trading Company & Consortium, Tengu & Yeti, Charr & Ghosts of Ascalon, Krait & Naga)

~ Custom Sound effects
- - - - - Each race plays new special audio queues during communications.

The Mod also contains
~ 1,000 new Tyrian species names for primitive/pre-sapient/random empires and thousands of Guild Wars Based Star/Black Hole/Nebula names.
~ Two custom galaxy maps if you want to try them based on Orr and Cantha


This mod does NOT seek to:

1. Alter game balance in any way.
2. Change or overwrite anything from Vanilla (with some minor exceptions)
3. Add new civics, origins authorities, technologies, home-worlds or other modifiers modifiers. (see point 1)

That said, when the species traits and relics are implemented these are likely to affect balance in minor ways (only regarding the new empires, nothing else)

Recommended mods:
Consider using a mod to disable the vanilla pre-scripted empires if you want just Tyrians in your galaxy.

Road-map:
- Start-screen lore stories for more (and eventually all) empires.
- Unique species traits, opinion modifiers, and a relic for each empire.
- There are some misc content ideas I have, like putting "here be dragons" dragons in the elder dragon home systems.
- It would be nice to have new static portraits (I really need help with this, the only skill required is to take screenshots in gw2, message me)

Feedback wanted:
- Anything and everything on the spreadsheet.
- AI personality specifics. Are the Sylvari behaving too passive? The Charr too aggressive? Stuff like this. There are huge amounts of personality options to think about that could make the mod even more fun than Vanilla Stellaris AI would be. There is a page on the spreadsheet.

I don't know how to do that, especially with the versioning that Stellaris uses. I have many name lists that are out of date.

Is there a way to salvage what you created here? You put so much work into it and it shows? a way to take the passive things like namelists, custom races (Without auto spawn) and any events or artifacts?

You could just rip the name lists out on your end, have fun with them! And the name lists are pretty modern honestly - I wrote/updated most of them <9months ago.

Oh my gosh, this is brilliant, why did you not maintain it?

Is it possible to just use the races/name list still? What a lot of work you put into this, all lovingly. I am sorry, I didn't see it until now.

Hah thanks! This one has a lottt of detail but has always felt kind of "incomplete" since I removed the actual portrait pictures/art for the species. Maybe I'll look back at it one day.

To the one or two guys looking at this mod, 1.13 has super altered all portraits and this mod is gonna be hardcore broken for a bit.

I'll probably take the opportunity to go back to good art for the races, or something. But it'll be a long while. (Message me if you wanna help)
