A fistful of sand...

Two companions set out in the world, as the winds of time ever uncaringly blows.

A slapdashedly put together mod for the sake of having a kind of low-effort 'sandbox campaign'. No story elements, and might never have any.
You get to choose a Faction as well as two Heroes from that faction, and you're given some starting coin and units. Then you are on your own.

Existing Factions:
Forces of Order(Humans)
Forces of Chaos(Demons)
Forces of Death(Undead)
Forces of Might(Greenskin)
Forces of Stone(Dwarves)
Forces of Thorn(Nature)
Forces of Gloom(Driders & Insectoids)

Future Factions:
It is a mystery!

Hello, sorry for not responding to your first message. I figured I'd watch and see if it was an issue on my side or not. Good to hear it was resolved.

As for reinforcements, it is basically the same way for each faction in this mod; recruitment by means of enslavement, bribing, controlling or raising from the dead. Each faction in this mod should have one or more of these means available to them, though I admit it is quite heavily biased towards undead and probably humans as well.

I can make no promises, but if I do get a strange mood one day I will see if I can make some recruitment sites for the various factions in this mod.

Graphical errors appear to be fixed and were settings related. Les helped me sort it out. With the orcs and some others how do I get reinforcements? Undead is easy, humans is easy. Everyone else seems to have issues. What am I doing wrong or missing?

I am getting all kinds of graphical glitches while playing this after about 2-4 battles. I have tried Humand, Demons, Undead so far and all have the same things happening. Eventually parts of the screen are replaced with other graphical images from the game. Love the idea behind this mod. But it is so buggy right now. Wish the devs would make this official without a story line so we can play with all the bits we have. Thanks for the hard work putting this together. Chris

Thanks! I pretty much had the same thought when I set out to make the mod, as having options is always good.

As for things such as the pearl shops and windmills, I am not sure if I can easily re-add them, as I believe they are set up to trigger when the main campaign heroes are available. I might look into making my own variations thereof in the future, unless the developers end up rejiggering how those events/locations works on their own. I can't make any promises as to when or even if I can make a fix for it, but I'll certainly try and keep it in mind on future work on this mod.

Any favorite factions or heroes found in this mod yet, to anyone that might come by the comment section?

This is a really neat mod and I think a really good addition. I've been playing the game since I got it recently, though I found it a shame I couldn't easily play as any of the other races, so this mod was nice to find.

I don't know if it's an error somewhere on my part, but is it possible to re-add the books somehow? I can access the shops and procedurally generated encounters, but the likes of the windmill, pearlshop, etc, are all missing when I try to play as any of the mods added factions? Not sure if it's just me.

I feel like I could get back to tweaking this thing in the near future. For anyone thats tried it out; Any changes or additions you'd like to see, or any opinions you have in general about this mod?
