I bring you an extremely effective an unique counter attacking tactic playing a very unique 442 square formation. The formation enables you to play some revolutionary and unstoppable counter attacking football.

When defending your team is split in 2. The attacking players will press the opponent relentlessly, and the defensive players (including the 2 midfielders) will patiently sit back and wait for the right moment to make a tackle or intercept.

When attacking, your team will attack with 6 players rushing at full speed (4 attacking players and 2 wingbacks). The strongest part about this tactic and formation is the square formation up front. There is always a very easy pass to open up defenses as the opposing team simply cannot cover all passing lanes when you have 4 "strikers".

It is vital for your team to have very competent attacking wingbacks as the tactic relies heavily on the wingbacks for width in this system.

The tactic will make your team play a very coherent brand of football and players in every position will thrive and play at their best. I had 8 players on the premier league "Team of the year". Your strikers will become prime R9!
