Outlaws Cheat Codes

A list of all the available cheat codes for Outlaws.

Most Notable Cheats

This section will cover the most notable cheats. All cheats are entered in-game, unpaused, by typing out the code on your keyboard. If your character is reacting to button inputs while entering the code it means you messed it up at some point. You don't have to type fast to have them work, so take your time. Codes are in all caps to help readability, but can be typed regularly. To disable toggle cheats, simply load a save, restart the level or re-enter the code.

God Mode

OLIMYELLA - Full Invincibility Toggle
Grants you full invincibility and infinite stamina.

All Weapons and Full Ammo

OLPOSTAL - Weapons Added
Bestows you with the game's entire arsenal filled to the brim with ammunition. To move while wielding the Gatling Gun, enter the cheat below.

Move with the Gatling Gun

OLSTINNETT - Let's Go... -Pike
Allows you to run around while wielding the Gatling Gun.

Infinite Ammo

OLASH - Bottomless Bowl-O-Ammo Toggle
Sets ammo count of everything to 999. Ammo doesn't decrease and you don't need to reload.

All Key Items

OLJACKPOT - Inventory Added
Gives you all the key inventory items in the stage. Does not give Medical Bags or the Pen (optional item in level 2).

Fly Mode

OLAIRHEAD - Fly Mode Toggle
Toggles flight. The "Jump" key makes you move upward and "Crouch" downwards. It controls a bit weird, but gets the job done.

Jetpack Mode

OLSHADOWS - Jetpack Toggle!
Hold down the "Jump" key to ascend and let go to descend. Be wary of fall damage.

Infinite Lamp Oil

OLGUSHER - Unlimited Oil Toggle
Using the Lamp won't use any Oil.

Auto-Reload

OLWIMPY - Wimpy, Wimpy, Wimpy!
Fully reloads your weapon instantly when the last round is fired, provided there is ammo.

Super Map Mode

OLCDS - Super Map Mode Toggle
Fully reveals the map, with unexplored walls shown as light gray. Every sprite is displayed as a separate color-coded triangle on the map, with the triangle showing their angle. Useful for finding stray enemies or item pickups.

• Enemies are gray
  
• Neutral entities (NPCs, decorations) are black
  
• Items and the player are pink

Other Notable Cheats

Full Health

OLER
Fully restores your health.

+3 Health

OLMORERX
Restores up to 3 hearts of health.

+1 Health

OLRX
Restores a single heart of health.

Add Oil

OLOPEC - Oil Added
Fills your lamp oil reserve by 40%, which is 60 seconds (max capacity is 150 seconds).

Temporary Cloak

OLETHER - Cloaking...
Similar to Doom's "Partial Invisibility", gives you a temporary cloak. Largely useless as the effect is designed for an item that only appears in multiplayer. The AI will not behave any differently.

Teleport

OLZIP - Teleport Failed
While the map view is active, type this code to enable it. After this, every time you access the map view, the game will save your current location as the teleport marker (not visible). Typing the cheat again outside of the map view will warp you to the marker. If the saved coordinates wouldn't be valid in the current level, it will fail to warp you. It's not a very useful cheat because it restricts your map usage if you want to keep a specific warp point.

Play All Cutscenes

OLSCREENING
Plays every single cutscene back-to-back. Sends you to the Main Menu afterwards.

-1 Health

OLHITME
Damages you for a single heart of health. This cheat can kill you. Does not work if the Invincibility cheat (OLIMYELLA) is active.

-3 Health

OLREALLYHITME
Damages you for 3 hearts of health. This cheat can kill you. Does not work if the Invincibility cheat (OLIMYELLA) is active.

Die

OLTOMBSTONE
This cheat kills you. Does not work if the Invincibility cheat (OLIMYELLA) is active.

Force Boss Spawn

OLAPPEAR - I See You
Only works on the Town and Cliff levels for their respective bosses. Forces them to spawn before fulfilling the prerequisites.

Stop AI

OLREDLITE - Logic Toggle
Turns off the AI logic. You cannot interact with the AI while this cheat is active.

Increase Weapon Potency

OLSHAW - Buh-Bye...
Enemies receive more knockback. I don't think it increases damage, but it needs more testing.

Bonus Points

OLBOOST - Points Added... | No Advancement. | You're a Deputy now! | You're a Sheriff now! | You're a Marshal now!
Intended for Marshal Training. Instantly adds 5000 points to your total Game Score.

Night Vision Rifle Scope

OLBLACKOPS - I'm On It! | That Was With My LEFT Hand!
Everything through the scope is fully lit, regardless of actual lighting.

Minecart Ride Mode

OLRUNAWAYTRAIN - I Wish I Could... | Runaway Minecar Toggle!
Entering this while standing on any of the tracks in the Mine level will toggle a "Runaway Minecar" mode. Best used on sloped tracks for speed.

Temporary Sheriff's Badge

OLYAHOO - Aaak Aaak Aaak!
Grants you a temporary Sheriff's Badge power up.

Skip Level

OLSCORE
Instantly skips to the cutscene that plays after completing the level the code was used on and advances to the next level.

Oz Mode

OLLILLIPUT - Oz Mode Toggle
Quoted from "Outlaws Secrets" on GameFAQs[gamefaqs.gamespot.com]: Also known as "Dorothy" Mode, this speeds up the voices and makes the people smaller. Too bad it's for Macs only.

Debugger

OLDEBUGGER
Presumably a disabled or broken debugger cheat.

Editor

OLEDIT
Attempts to access an editor, but fails because of a missing "oleditor.dll" file. Minimizes and may crash your game. The file is available for download online, but to fully use it, you'll need to run the game in Windowed mode.

Super Jump

OLBOUNCE - Super Jump Toggle
Seemingly broken. Doesn't seem to affect jumping at all. Some say it requires binding an extra input through the registry, but I couldn't get it working.

DRYGULCH

OLDRYGULCH
Nonfunctional cheat. Same name as one of the multiplayer maps.

FORT

OLFORT
Nonfunctional cheat. Same name as one of the multiplayer maps.

GRANARY

Displays the framerate and some other debug info.

Adds a display to the map view that shows player coordinates.

Displays the current number of players (for multiplayer).

OLJTF - Just The Facts, Ma'am
Displays the current game stats.

Wall IDs

Displays an ID of every wall on the map view.

Displays various memory stats.

Sorry, I don't think you're on the right game's community page. This guide and the cheats listed are for a 1997 wild west FPS simply called "Outlaws".

Though I haven't played it, I suspect you're actually talking about the recent Star Wars: Outlaws game, with no relation to this game. Unfortunately, I can't really help with that.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong but none of the cheats work for me - I keep getting in game reactions. I am stuck on the main quest where ND5 is chasing me and I am at the second generator - very annoying and I cannot get past it.

You may have accidentally pressed the + (Plus) key on your keyboard. To get it back, you could try pressing the - (Minus) key. Because there are several different regional keyboard layouts, I'm unable to give you specific locations for the keys as I don't know which one you use, but on the US layout they're located between 0 and Backspace. If pressing - on your keyboard doesn't work, try pressing some of the other symbol keys and checking the screen each time. The Numpad + and - keys won't work (at least they don't for me).

If this doesn't fix it, then I don't think I can help further. If you haven't yet, you could try asking on the game's Discussions page where more people might see your question. If you're not using Steam in English, it might be called something else, but you should be able to find it by scrolling all the way up this guide and clicking the second tab from the top left of the page, next to All .

Somehow I inadvertently remove the ammo available for each weapon that is normally at the bottom of the screen. I have tried uninstalling the game then installing it again a couple times, my saved games come back and the ammo indicator is still missing. How can i get it back?

I think I read about that, but I couldn't get it working when I tried. I might have to check it again at some point to see if I did it wrong.

I have an explanation for super jump. If you edit the registry for the game, you can bind a key to a hidden super run function. You go even faster than the normal one and lose your stamina extremely quickly. You can't jump while super running without the cheat. So, it's still kinda useless, haha.

Hmmm. The only thing I could think of that would cause that is wielding the Gatling Gun. If you have that weapon out, you will be stationary unless you use another cheat (OLSTINNETT) to move around with that weapon. If you can't move with any weapon out, then I have no idea what's going on, sorry.
