Introduction

QP is a balanced jack-of-all-trades character that can be played just about any way depending on her cards. What she lacks in strength, she makes up with versatility, which is reflected with her hyper. Hyper Mode negates the penalties of being KOed in battle while also granting QP a decent attack boost at a low cost and level requirement.

Play QP if:
  • You want to do a little bit of everything.
  • You like to play it safe but pounce at the opportunity to get ahead.
  • Your hand dictates your playstyle.
  • Your preferred path to victory changes based on what is easier at the moment.

Pros:
  • Even stats across the board means that you don't have any glaring weaknesses.
  • Adaptable to most situations.
  • Hyper Mode is cheap and can be played from level 1.
  • Hyper can be used on offense or defense to great effect.

Cons:
  • No particular strengths.
  • Loses to more specialized characters in circumstances that favor them.
  • Card reliant for battles.
  • Susceptible to poor dice rolls.

Unit Card

HP: 5 | ATK: 0 | DEF: 0 | EVD: 0 | REC: 5

QP is the standard against which all other characters are measured. Her stats are 0s across the board, meaning she receives no bonuses nor penalties from combat rolls. Her health and recovery are both a respectable 5 as well, meaning that she can be surprisingly hard to keep down with the right cards and a bit of luck.

Hyper Card

Hyper Mode
Type: Battle
Level Requirement: 1
Cost: 10 stars

Your unit gains +2 Attack during this battle. If your unit suffers a KO during the battle, you give no stars or Wins and the unit will revive next turn.

It's not every day you see a hyper card that you can play from the start of the game. Hyper Mode embodies QP's adaptable nature, providing an offensive buff as well as a defensive fallback. The +2 ATK bonus means that you will be hitting as hard as bully characters like Yuki. The second part effectively negates a battle loss by denying your opponent any rewards from their win. You will still be KOed until your next turn which will be skipped as you revive though. Hyper Mode is best used to save your stars when you know you will be KOed, but can also be used for the ATK boost if you really need to KO an opponent.

Stages of the Game
Levels 1-3
QP is a bit weird. Since her hyper is available at level 1 and she doesn't have any passive abilities, her playstyle is dictated by her cards, the board, and her opponents rather than her level. Got some nice offensive battle cards? Use them to bully weaker players. Defensive battle cards? Avoid other players and collect stars. Traps? Place them on high value spaces such as draw spaces or home bases to hinder your opponents. You will likely be doing all of this over the course of the match.

Due to QP's flexibility, you can go for star or win normas depending on what you currently have and the cards you have to back it up. Defensive cards help you hang on to stars while offensive cards help you KO opponents for wins. Star normas are usually the way to go, as QP has difficulty KOing NPCs and players without battle cards and good rolls. Keep in mind that once you chose a norma, you cannot change it until the next time you level up.

Levels 4-5
The later levels require a bit more concentration due to their high requirements. Once you chose one, you will need to commit to your choice and focus on gaining wins or stars. This isn't to say that a star collecting QP shouldn't KO a player if the opportunity arises, but you should be much more careful about being KOed in battle due to the much larger penalties at this stage in the game. Likewise, a win collecting QP shouldn't slouch on their star collection due to your battle cards requiring stars and the potential to switch to a star norma later.

The Boss
QP can fight the boss with the help of battle cards if she has to, but should otherwise avoid boss spaces. Bosses tend to have high ATK and DEF, so prioritize defensive battle cards so you can survive the encounter.

Deckbuilding Overview
Ranking
I use letter ranks to rate cards. Cards are sorted by type, then alphabetically within each tier. This is by no means an absolute measure of how powerful each card is. Feel free to use any cards you want to fit your strategy, although I advise against bringing F cards. When it comes down to it, play what you think will be the most fun for you.

S: Necessary. Godlike synergy or required for the character to function. (Note: Not every character has one of these.)
A: Powerful. A high priority card that will usually be in your deck.
B: Very Good. Not necessary, but should always be considered.
C: Average. Nice cards to have, but might be outclassed. Also includes situational cards.
D: Poor. Helps your opponents more than it helps you.
F: Awful. You are actively hurting yourself by bringing these cards.

S Rank Cards
(None)
QP is an extremely versatile character. You can find success playing her with just about any mix of cards. Because of this, she doesn't have any cards that are required.

A Rank Cards

Rbits
Reduces the damage you take and gives you a much greater chance of surviving combat against bullies. Very helpful for surviving boss encounters.
Reverse Attribute Field
Your ace in the hole against bullies and an easy way to survive a boss encounter. Be careful when using this against characters with negative attributes. For example, using this against a boss will make it hit like a Q-tip and make it's defenses paper thin, but will also give it a huge boost to dodge chance. Make sure to consider the consequences when using this card.
Serious Battle
Serious battle lets lets QP fight on even terms with characters that would otherwise have their way with her. Counter bully attacks, Crush tanks, and hamstring evasive characters all with one card. Just don't get carried away, as the fight is decided solely by die rolls one this card is played.
Nice Present
QP needs cards to be consistent and this will give you two of them. Nice indeed!
Pudding
It's not just a meme! I swear! This card greatly increases your sustain in the late game and can be played for free.
Pasionate Research
This will let you see the top three cards of the deck as well as grab any hyper cards hiding in there. Gives you important information and potentially one or more Hyper Modes.

Dark Side of Business
Lets you steal stars form your opponent instead of doing damage. QP has a hard time KOing players unless they are low, so his can be a useful battle card against defensive star collectors. Do not play this against NPCs as they don't have many stars unless they have KOed a player.
I'm On Fire!
An inexpensive battle card that gives you an edge against NPCs and can help secure KOs against players.
Quick Restoration
Lets you pretend the battle never happened. Great when played at high health, but terrible when your health is low. If you are KOed, you will not heal.
Rainbow-Colored Circle
The riskiest of QP's defensive options. Great for avoiding damage from random encounters or less combat-oriented players. Beware when fighting enemies with high ATK bonuses, as a failed dodge will result in a lot of damage.
Dash!
Map mobility at its finest. Lets you catch up to an escaping foe, escape yourself, or just get home faster.
Nice Jingle
A great way to speed up star collection that gets better as the game goes on.
Here and There
Warps everyone around randomly. Use to deny opponents from reaching their home or to teleport attackers away.
Holy Night
Increases the passive stars gained by all players at the start of each round. Lets you win faster.
Poppo the Snatcher
This gift will make you a little more vulnerable, but will speed up your star collection. Hyper Mode will allow you to keep your stars if an opponent gets sick of your shenanigans.
Go Away
A sold trap for denying players from reaching their home.

C Rank Cards

Accel Hyper
A powerful offensive battle card for the late game. Turns even the weakest character into an offensive powerhouse. Best played on offense so you aren't KOed before you can reap its benefits. Just remember that you can still roll snake-eyes.
Big Magnum
Lets you hit hard in the mid game at the cost of a point of health. A good card for an aggressive player.
Portable Pudding
QP has high enough HP that this card can save her in a pinch, but generally she has better defensive options that cost far less.
Shield
Gives a massive defense boost at the cost of your counter attack. You can only play this on defense, so bring this card when survival is your #1 priority.
Shield Counter
A get-out-of-battle free card that punishes opponents with high attack and low defense.
Tactical Retreat
Use to flee from bullies when you can't afford to be knocked out.
Backdoor Trade
This card can be helpful on maps like Space Wanderer where it can be hard to get beck to your home base.
Completion Reward
Gives a nice star boost if you are playing lots of traps. Otherwise, this card isn't worth bringing.
Extend
Revives you the turn after a KO. Between this and Hyper Mode, it can be very hard to keep QP down for long. Keep in mind that this will still be expended if you play Hyper Mode.
Long-Distance Shot
Lets you soften up a target before a fight or damage an aggressive player to make them think twice about attacking you. More effective against targets with low base health and high defense.
Path Blockers
Can be annoying if people are playing traps. Otherwise it's a waste of 13 stars.
Princess's Privilege
Dump your hand for a new one. Can be helpful if you are having a really hard time finding Hyper Mode.
Saki's Cookie
A modest heal that can be played at any point in the game.
Stiff Crystal
Negates the next trap you land on. You will almost never gain the stars back that you spent on this, but it beats losing out on a norma because of Go Away or worse.
Treasure Thief
Steal a card from everyone on your space, even if they are KOed. This usually happens after being attacked or after you KO a player.
Dinner
A good heal that benefits you even if your opponent plays it.
Mix Phenomenon
Randomizes all spaces on the board excluding home bases. Usually makes the board a safer place and sometimes spawns heal spaces in front of you.
Oh My Friend
Summons the boss. Can cause havok for characters with low defenses and makes it a little harder for combat characters to get wins.
Party Time
Gather everyone on a random space. Can be used to move players away from their home base and put them in front of you.
Play of the Gods
This can be a good card for event-based decks, but otherwise doesn't do much and can sometimes screw you over. It does have the ability to snag hyper cards from opponent's hands though.
Serene Hush
No battles means that you don't have to play Hyper Mode. This helps you more than offensive characters, but it still isn't the best choice as the fighting resumes next turn.
Super All-Out Mode
A really aggressive card that boosts your everyone's attack in their next battle. Play before attacking a player when you know the boost will give you a high chance of getting a KO.
We Are Waruda
Moves all traps around randomly. Use to move traps to less important parts of the map. Do not play this if you are playing mostly traps.
C Rank Cards (Part 2)
Bloodlust
Lets you fight more often, but can be risky due to QP's decent-at-best combat abilities.
Lost Child
Reverses your travel direction. Potentially gets you home faster and makes you encounter players more often.
Lucky Charm
Lucky Charm is a double-edged sword. It gives QP some much need star income but shuts off her ability to play cards. Because QP is so dependent on cards, it is important to learn when to toss this card in order to regain access to your cards.
Metallic Monocoque
This card can help against opponents who rely on damage outside of combat. It's usefulness is dependent on the matchup, meaning it will either be a big help or useless depending on the opponent.
Windy Enchantment
Lets you move faster. Discard before you get home, as it prevents you from completing normas.
Bad Pudding
An early game trap that attacks your opponent's hand. Play if you want to do a trap-based deck.
Dangerous Pudding
Skips the victim's next turn. Use in trap-based decks.
Encore
This card is a bit unreliable, but it can get you more stars or more cards for free. Place it somewhere opponents won't accidentally trigger it.
Heat 300%
Makes defending much more painful for the victim. Good for aggressive decks or trap decks.
Mimyuu's Hammer
Another decent choice for trap decks. Great against opponents with low base health.
Piggy Bank
Place on your home for easy access. Keep in mind that most people do this and other players will try to land on your home base to snatch this from you.
Piyopiyo Procession
Three fights where the enemy gets priority. Great against characters with low ATK. Do not play on a bully's home base unless you want to give them free wins.
Poppoformation
Very dangerous for anyone who lands on it. If you are willing to risk it, this card can make just about anyone easy pickings for QP.
Sky Restaurant 'Pures'
A very strong late game trap. Place on an opponent's home base to deny star normas.
Tragedy in the Dead of Night
Steal a card from the victim. If you land on one you played, it does nothing. Good for trap decks.

D Rank Cards
Desperate Modification
Last resort only. Rolling a 1 will likely get you KOed.
Extension
Random and unreliable. Accel Hyper is a better use of a card slot.
Final Battle
Your survival is put entirely on your dice rolls since Final Battle doesn't give you any stat boost. In addition, your opponent can still play a battle card and will probably win if they do. You won't be able to save yourself with Hyper Mode if you play this.
Sink or Swim
QP doesn't have the stats to take advantage of this card. Becoming Poppo for a turn will not bode well when she misses the attack. Bullies can use it against you, but Hyper Mode can cancel it out.
Ambush
Lets you attack all players standing on the same square as you. Only useful as a counter attack against a player that fought you.
Flip Out
Not very helpful. You have better cards you could bring.
Gentleman's Challenge
This card is better on characters that don't depend on battle cards or luck for offensive strength.
Lonely Chariot
Dash and Windy Enchantment are better, less suicidal options for enhanced movement.
Mimic
There are many characters that would kill to have a hyper like yours. Don't let them have it.
President's Privilege
Most of QP's cards are cheap enough that this isn't worth playing. Can save you some stars if you need to play a card during your turn and a battle.
Sweet Destroyer
This card isn't good unless your name is Yuki (Dangerous).
Accelerating Sky
Makes you slightly better at dodging but slightly worse at blocking. Not really worth the stars, but hey, someone else might play it.
Cloud of Seagulls
The randomness factor of this card severely limits its usefulness. If you want to deal damage, bring Long-Range Shot instead.
Forced Revival
Lets you KO players a second time. Very dangerous to have played against you, especially if you just used Hyper Mode to avoid KO consequences.
Gift Exchange
Shuffles everyone's hands, potentially giving away hypers to other characters. Keep in mind that you only receive cards equal to the number you had.
Indiscriminate Fire Support
QP has enough HP to make this work but it is still a risky card for her to play since she has trouble consistently dealing and dodging damage.
Little War
An expensive effect that benefits bullies more so than it does you.
Scary Solicitation
Only characters that want their opponents to have a full hand should bring this. Most players won't even play this card if they draw it unless they really need to deny a star norma.
Sealed Gardian
Too expensive and too risky at too high a level.
Star-Blasting Light
Situational and expensive. Destroys players that rely on traps like Krila or Yuki (Dangerous).
Unpaid Work
This really doesn't do much for you that Hyper Mode doesn't accomplish already.
D Rank Cards (Part 2)
Price of Power
Most of the cards you bring will be playable by level three, which somewhat defeats the purpose of playing cards early.
Unlucky Charm
A negitive gift that causes the holder to lose stars. Usually gets discarded immediately to get around the cost of sending it to another player.
Assault
When QP fights, she wants to do so on her own terms when the opponent is at a disadvantage. This removes that choice, making it dangerous for her. Opponents can land on this trap at times when you are low on health and/or cards.
Brutal Prank
Whiffs most of the time. Don't count on this one doing much.
Exchange
This card is only good when you are really behind. Even then, you have to hope that the right person lands on it before you start to catch up on your own.
For the Future of the Toy Store
The 50 star requirement really ruins this awesome trap for QP. If everything is going decently, you won't be able to play this past level 2 usually.
I Wanna See You
This puts you in front of an opponent, which is something QP does not want.
Invasion
Awesome if you call the Seagull, but usually rather lack luster. Not the best option against bullies or tanks, but can cause problems for squishy characters.
Present Thief
Lets you steal an entire player's hand. Tricky to use effectively.
Sealed Memories
An incredibly annoying trap. Lets everyone see the victim's hand except the victim. Can lead to misplays, but can be countered by remembering the order of your cards.
Wanted
This benefits aggressive characters way more than it benefits you.
F Rank Cards
Image
Name
Review
Out of Ammo
Prevents all players from playing cards for a turn. More often than not, it ends up preventing you from saving yourself with battle cards.
Scrambled Eve
Leaves you and everyone else without a hand for a small star compensation. There need to be 2 or more other cards shuffled in for you to benefit from the compensation. Only play this to deny your opponents their cards when your hand is low or not very helpful.
Flamethrower
Don't count on this getting a KO, but demolishing someone's hand is still really good. Unfortunately, this leaves QP with nothing to defend herself but luck, and we all know how that goes.

Sample Decks
Balanced

2x Rbits
1x I'm On Fire!
1x Big Magnum
1x Dash
1x Nice Present
1x Passionate Research
1x Pudding
1x Here and There
1x Go Away

This deck contains a little of everything, prioritizing star collection while giving you a few options for going on the offensive as well.

Evasive

2x Rbit
1x Reverse Attribute Field
2x Tactical Retreat
2x Dinner
2x Here and There
1x Nice Present

This deck aims to keep QP alive by any means necessary. Avoid other players when possible and use Here and There to get aggressors off your tail. Quick Recovery and Shield Counter are some another good options that can replace Tactical Retreat or Reverse Attribute Field.

Tricky

2x Go Away
2x Mimyuu's Hammer
2x Flamethrower
2x Heat 300%
1x Sky Restaurant 'Pures'
1x Nice Present

This deck uses traps to cause trouble for your opponents. Traps in this deck can be swapped for just about any other trap of a similar level. Some other good choices are Bad Pudding, Dangerous Pudding, Sealed Memories, and Tragedy in the Dead of Night. You will be relying of your hyper and your opponent's cards for battles, so be careful.

Who to Watch Out For
Bullies

These characters have very high attack and can easily KO QP if she rolls poorly or doesn't have any battle cards. If you must fight one of these characters, make sure to do so on your own terms. Try and stay behind these characters if you can. If you can get the jump on them when they have low health, you are sure to win. Use Hyper Mode in a pinch to save your stars, deny them wins, and give them a turn to get in front of you.

Tanks

While most of these characters won't directly cause you harm, they can be very hard to stop once they get ahead due to their enhanced survivability. QP's combat presence is lacking without battle cards, so you will have trouble stopping them by yourself. Dark Side of Business, Reverse Attribute Field, and traps are your only reliable options against these characters.

Evasive Characters

Noticing a pattern here? Pretty much any character with +2 anything is going to give you a problem one way or another. With this group, you will have a very hard time dealing damage to them unless you roll fantastically or have really good battle cards. Threats range from hard to stop to hard to stop them from KOing you.

Marie Poppo

Marie Poppo is much better at collecting stars than you and is quite slippery with her hyper Ubiquitous. You cannot KO her in one battle while she is at full health without a +2 bonus to ATK, and that is only considering a perfect attack roll and a minimal defense roll. Even if you do land a big hit on her, she will likely warp away with her hyper before you can finish her off. Surprisingly hard to KO despite her -1 to both DEF and EVD.

Co-op

QP's versatility extends to co-op mode as well. She can fill any role decently, but will have trouble on higher difficulties due to the need for more specialized characters and strategies. Since players know what they are going up against before the game starts, that versatility somewhat goes to waste in this mode. She is good for players who have not unlocked many characters yet, but want to play lots of different roles. QP doesn't have problems with any of the bosses, but doesn't really accel against any of them either. She is decent in most circumstances, but that's about all she has going for her.

Attacker
Hyper mode can be used for an offensive boost and to recover afterward. While she lacks the explosive damage or characters like Kae, she is much better at staying alive, especially with the right battle cards. Probably her best role due to both haves of her hyper synergizing with it, but only by a little bit.
Defender
QP has decent enough health to pass out some shields and really enjoys having the DEF boost. Hyper Mode is best used for the revive portion in order to pass out more shields.
Support
She doesn't really support her team much outside of the Support skills, but Hyper Mode helps to make sure that she is doing so for most of the game.
Avenger
QP's lack of DEF can make managing damage tough for this role. You may find yourself taking more damage than intended in fights. Hyper Mode combined with Beyond will make her hard to keep down, but keep in mind that dying during Hyper Mode will prevent your counterattack from taking place.
Dealer
Hyper Mode is a great card to send to your attacker teammates, giving them damage and a quick revive in the face of terrifying boss abilities like Imaginary Numbers and Watermelon Splitting. The downside is that, other than a minor health boost, QP's stats will remain very underwhelming.
