* Features
- Add the ability for the marine to play as a babbler once dead
--> Auto respawn each "wave" of 50s
--> Auto respawn when the Faded spawn babblers
- Add a 70s delay after a changemap, and a 8s delay between each round
- Change the armory behaviour (players will buy weapon with PRes)
- The scoreboard is not anymore hidden (exept for the faded players as a marine)
* Balance
- Mines (both) do not explode anymore on babblers
- Battery are now visible on the minimap for marines
* Fixes
- Fixed some compatiblity issues
- Fixed battery locked sometime on an unpowered building
- Fixed marines being spammed on the chat when the round start
- Fixed faded FOV
- Fixed faded bilebomb fire rate being shared by all the Faded team
- Fixed Heavy shotgun displayed as a "shotgun" on the scoreboard
* Others
- Change marine/spectator 'x' menu to use command more easily
- Add variables to the json
- Optimise server side update loop
- Update the marine buy menu
--> Opened by default
--> Shows the client key to use it
- Add some client message to make the game more intuitive
- Each commands now work with the "!" at the beginning

For historical/practical reasons I do not maintain anymore this item on the workshop, it has also been marked as deprecated/incompatible.

However "The faded" mod has moved on the workshop here: .

There you will find the most up to date version of the mod I am working on. I published a patch for the NS2 "tundra" build yesterday and it should be working just fine, but bugs report are always welcomed (in that case try to upload the log report on the forum faded thread).

Great mod after months of playing Natural Selection 2 this mod brings change to the normal generic gameplay we all are used to, and it does that in a way that it could stand as a stand alone game. (please don't well not yet) :gorge:

The 0.21.5 version is now developed with a lots of good stuff (including a new napalm grenade). I am currently testing it to ensure it's stable for the release. I will keep you informed.

The issue with the "eat" fraction being reset when moving the mouse is now solved in the 0.21.1 (with many other things) :) Thank you for your feedback ingame.

Little news, I am working on fixing bugs and changing the mecanics for the flashlight (so it can be use in a usefull way and not as a necessity). I will keep you inform.

I'm aware you're not the author of this mod, thanks for keeping it going :)

But is there any chance of slightly changing the code so it upscales on bigger servers?

For example, on a 20+ server there are 2 fades instead of just 1?
