transfer tables and track reversing blocks don't work properly anymore
i hope it gets fixed soon
so if this is your first NL2 DLC, the .pkg is going to be BURIED in files. NL2 makes it convenient after the first time but i'll get to that.
while in NL2, Click file->open.
go to file system. in that directory you're gonna go ALL the way up until you see
program files (x86)
from there you're gonna go Steam->Steamapps->Workshop->content->301320->1552221913 and that's the folder you're gonna find the package in.
open THAT in nl2 (has to be done from within nl2).
that will open a demo park for scripts.
while that park is open you can CLICK EXTRACT PACKAGE and you're ALL SET.
next time you click open, there will be another folder there called steam workshop and all your stuff will be there.
I also started this off with creating a new park for DLC and extracted the package to that park bc someone said its good for organization. you don't need to do that bc NL2 makes a new steam workshop file for you to access.
