NEXTBOTS 3.0

Kuvaus
October 9th, 2019:
-New Skeleton faction, hostile to all. Comes with three new skeleton npcs, walkers, fast and hulks.

-Targetting improvements

-Line of sight target method improved, nextbots no longer lose target after losing line of sight while using the alternative target method

-Added in ability for developers using Nextbots 3.0 to make their own factions

- Resident evil outbreak nextbots

REQUIRES wOs Animation base! Look at required items!

What is different from old nextbots?
- Includes new and improved Zombie SWEPs, using a zombie swep will have zombie animations, along with being friendly to zombie nextbots while equipped

-Nextbots interact with vehicles now, if a nextbot survives an impact, they will get back up

- Nextbots no longer target npcs, they target opposite nextbot factions now. Zombies attack everyone, rebels and swats are friendly to players, mercenaries attack everyone

- Human nextbots; open doors, find safe spots to reload, back up when enemies are too close. Use variety of weapons. Press use on rebels to have them follow you

-Humans who die by zombies, or a player zombie, will turn rise and come back as a zombie

Gameplay Features:
-Reviving mechanics, humans will rise from grave when killed by a zombie

-Better performance versus using snpcs/npcs

Commands: ( to be typed into the console )
- "ai_ignoreplayers 1/0" Nextbots ignore/target players
- "nb_targetmethod 1/0" Enable Nextbots finding targets in their line of sight
- "nb_stop 1/0" = Stop/Start all nextbots

- "nb_doorinteraction 1/0" Allow for nextbots to interact with doors
- "nb_friendlyfire 1/0" Allow for human nextbots to take damage from eachothers bullets
- "nb_allow_backingup 1/0" Allow human nextbots to back up when enemy gets too close
- "nb_soldier_findreloadspot 1/0" Allow human nextbots to find safe spots to reload

- "nb_death_animations 1/0" Allow death animations

HOW TO USE

Nextbots use a navigation mesh instead of an ai node. You can generate one for a map by typing in the following command:"nav_generate"

Depending on the size and complexity of the map it can take from several seconds to several minutes.

Once the process is finished, the map will be restarted and once you've loaded back into the map,

make sure to type in "nav_save" so you don't have to generate the navigation again.

No walkable seed positions
If "nav_generate" gives you a message saying "No walkable seed positions" then type in:

"nav_edit 1" then point into complex spots on the map and once finished, type "nav_mark_walkable" then type "nav_generate"

Nextbots are frozen / moving in place
This means the map has no navigation mesh, or that the area they're spawned in has no connection to a navigation mesh.

Nextbots move but t-pose
Make sure you have the [wOs] Base downloaded and enabled in the required items.
