This is for the quest "No rest for the wicked" -> "Colour the water in the baths"

How to make Fake Blood

The charlatan´s recipe for turning water into blood...or something that looks like blood.

Ingredients:

• Wine as base.
  
• Poppy (1)
  
• St.Jhon´s wort (1)
  
• Thistle (1)

Steps: In a alchemy station...

in short: put wine into the cauldron, grind all the ingredients and boil them together for one turn and use the phial to complete the potion.

long version:
1) Put wine in the cauldron.
2) Grind all the ingredients together (you can throw them all in the dish , then into the mortar for extra steps)
3) Throw all of that into the cauldron and boil for 1 turn.
4)Once fire is down , the boiling will be complete, procede to put the boiled soup into a phial.
5)DONE! Congrats.

For anyone coming to this guide for why their game might be bugged: I have the same issue as @Seba Chinaski below and have a way to fix it.

Follow this guide to enable console commands (it will not disable achievements, don't worry) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1357573583

Then press ~ to open the console and use the command "wh_cheat_addItem eec58bfb-063e-4838-b78d-3c2b354f1346 1" without quotes to spawn in the fake blood potion.

This was the only way to fix it as far as I know, somehow loading the DLC after starting the game messes with this part of the quest.

There is no such potion as buck's fake blood and if u let it cool and boil again you still get the Fake blood.
Buck's Blood Potion is made from different ingredients and different base (oil).

Just completed this potion on PS4. I'm aware this is for Steam which is completely different, So maybe it still doesn't work on PC Idk, don't have the PC version. Just thought I'd mention that it does indeed work on at least one version.

damn, i would say try starting a new game and test if the problem persist , cause indeed it is a bug, althou i read that can happen when you install a DLCs and continue playing the same game, but your problem was before that so is strange indeed

Yes, I added the royal edition a week ago.
The witch potion have the same bug and it was before the DLCs
After brewing this potions i get an empty "[]"

Hola Sebasgiu! Do you have Amorous Adventures of the Bold Sir Hans Capon DLC?
If so, did you started a game without DLCs, and then instaled DLC and continued with the same save?
