Description
My thoughts on Vanilla guards
My first 10 play Through's in this game, were well OK..
But when it came down the the Civil War quest line I never really wanted to complete or play through the Quest because i knew the soldiers were pitiful, one swing of my Great-sword killed them no matter what side i chose.
And they all looked the same, they had no warpaint and There originally was only a handful of variations (why not have more it's a civil war of Hundreds aint it?)

One thing you get allot with this sort of mod is:
Oh my! you have mixed up the Armors, i don't like that im not going to download.
A: Quite frankly i don't care if you don't want to download it.
A: They aren't completely mixed up, there is still parts that makes them differ from each other. one thing i didn't like was when you's finished the Cw quest line and over half the holds had the same armor. It got really boring. a quote from the one thing in skyrim, is that the Jarl's are largely independent, and when the Civil war is over it seems as if they are controlled by one Empire/faction. In oblivion All the holds/major citys are governed by a count/ess. and they are apart of the empire. but none of their uniforms match.
A: The thing is also, if you have another mod that you like and you want it to change the faction armors and it uses the same things i replaced, then you can use it, just load after this mod.

Some thing that was deceiving.
General Tullius had a quote that i like in game and it went like this,
"Battles are won by Trained and disciplined Men". Now the Men in Skyrim aren't disciplined or trained.. to be honest i'd much rather face 'braith.'


What have i done?
Now I have increased The level's of the soldiers and guards so they are a slightly higher level when you face them (this is going to be made even more different in the next version V2.5),

They all have weapon, archery and armor perks which makes the fight a harder, stronger and longer.
Perks Added:
Torch bash
juggernaut 20 (apprentice level)
barbarian 20
armsman 20
overdraw 00
agile defender 00 (Novice level)
In V2.5 (coming soon)
To make things even more different i have made the original soldiers stronger thee level mult is now 45 (when your level 20 they'll be just under level 10) before this value was much lower.
Then i have split the Npc's i have made and turned them even stronger with there level being half your's.
Then again a small amount of soldiers about 8 each side have been made as real soldiers, these guys will CUT you down were you stand. unless you are a high level and you'r versing them one on one. these guys have a bulking 70% of your level, they level to 60 and they have more stamina , slightly less health and they move faster, these guys are not to be taken kindly in a battle. higher perk levels have been added to these soldiers.

Potions of health and stamina have been added to the soldiers depending on their difficult level they'll have more.
A restore stamina spell (just like the healing spell but for stamina)

Changed the guard sleep outfit. also edited their packages to make them wear their sleep clothes, whilst sleeping (ticked the box wear sleep outfit, im unsure if this will work)

A small chance for a guard to have a silver sword.

Enchanted guard cuirass one uniqueish enhancement for each hold 1 in 4 chance of one spawning on a guard.

So there is in total of 2 new texture sets for 4 guard shields. will upload pictures.

I have changed the classes of random npc's i have created so any battle has the potential to be different.

Finally i have added a couple chests in helgen keep with random imperial items and stormcloak items. and you will find some other items around the keep, E.g i have changed the mage that is in the cage, and made him wear the stormcloak mage armor (his original one in in his inventory also). and there is an imperial mage outfit just around the corner in a slightly harder locked cage.

Diversity? you say? where?
Well i have added more diversity To the faces of the Soldiers and guards, so if you use something like Open faced guard helms: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9514 (if used with sky-re put low in load order) you will notice the difference.
When a hold is taken over All hold cuirass armors will Not change but the gauntlets boots and helmets will.
The soldiers and guards will not only use their light armor counterparts they will also use The heavy helmet, gauntlets and boots. Check images for More clarification.

In this mod, There is included mods That i have found available to modders for free of use, and i had asked Pvti for his Imperial spear model

These mods are added in the Game Here:
Imperial mage armor is on imperial mages.
Stormcloak mage armor is on stormcloak mages.
Stormcloak commander armor has a 50/50 chance to spawn over the Original stormcloak commander armor.
Steel bow has been put into a lvled list for both stormcloaks and imperials, Nords like steel right?

Imperial spear, dagger and mace has been added to the Imperial soldiers Lvled weapon list, so now the spear has a 1/3 chance to have that weapon. and 2/3 to spawn a sword or mace. PLEASE NOTE: that you can still use his mod along with this. These are mainly included to make more diversity and also that i have edited the 3 Vanilla CwSoldeirImperialGear....... so any mod that you like and want to use over this simply load after this mod in your load order.

Imperial Scout armor - mesh from a mod (stated in perms tab) and texture from me.
new stormclaok cuirass textures
Two New boot Textures
One New Gauntlet texture
Three New Guard shield textures

All of which can bee seen in images.

What i have tested
I have tested this through both sides of the Civil war, and found no Serious bugs.
There is one bug i have noticed with The Stormcloak guards when They populate Whiterun, 3-2 Guards mainly the ones outside the wall's will wear their default armors, no biggie, i think it looks ok.

NOTED BUGS!
The new shields that i have added have a bug when in the inventory as they have the riften sign when it should be the shields logo.

Installation / Uninstallation
Use Nmm to install.
Or extract the .zip contents into your Skyrim/data directory

To uninstall, use Nmm or delete the .zip contents.

Could you create a mod that stops ALL the gaurds in Skyrim becoming either Stormcloak or Impirial? Just so there is still some diversaty.

I think they're either from frostfall or CLoaks. on the nexus. After making a bashed patch my mod was compatable with that mod. But ehh, this mods prety old now im prety sure it'd make a bunch of Errors/conflicts with other newer mods. So use at your own discression.

I understand you said you quit Skyrim, so you might not even care to see this comment, but I do have a question: if I have a mod that allows guard to have hold capes, will this mod con flict with that?
Sorry if this question bothers you, I just think your mod is really cool and would like to use it
and since I would be unable to uninstall--as you've also said--I wanted to clarify this concern of mine.

Hmm, I don't seem to have the new guard armor. Is there anything that can cause this? I have the mod installed and checked.

this is an AMAZING mod the weapons the armors are all AMAZIN please make them craftable and THANK YOU THANK YOU AND THANK YOU !!!!!!!!
