Description
My diorama/battle game of the conflict fought between 470 Voortrekkers ("Pioneers"), led by Andries Pretorius, and an estimated "10,000 to 15,000" Zulu on the bank of the Ncome River on 16 December 1838, in what is today KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Casualties amounted to over 3,000 of king Dingane's soldiers dead, including two Zulu princes competing with Prince Mpande for the Zulu throne. Three Pioneer commando members were lightly wounded, including Pretorius himself. Thanks again to Kendo353 for his excellent colonial wars figures. Also to Mr.Stump for the dice roller & flex table. Black Powder rule books are on the tablet for downloading.

NOTE: To some (then and now) this was a political event. The Boers felt that the victory earned them the 'divine right to exist as an independent people' in South Africa (Afrikaner nationalism).

Hi Metal Izanagi,
I 've replaced the zulu warriors with ones without disappearing skirts...now we can only imagine what's underneath! :headshot:

Hi Metal Izanagi,
I also noted this with the Rorke's Drift mod. The modeler, Kendo353, hasn't been on STEAM for about 8 or 9 months. I can't fix the asset bundle, so I can only pull the mod or replace the Zulus with other native figures, perhaps less well endowed. Hmm...:headshot:

Oh my. The uh...Zulu models seem to be having a bit of a wardrobe malfunction for me. Their skirts are only showing up at certain angles, and if you zoom in to around the shoulders of a model. Whoever created those models um...made them anatomically correct lol.

It has never been my time, but I've fallen in love with her more and more. Thanks to Ken and you for bringing them to life.
