Dawn Offensive

Description
Did it ever bug you that as the Dawn guard tough guys just seemed to cower in their fortress as vampires feasted on your favourite NPC’s ?

Well it did me, so I had a word with Isran and got him to post a few Vampire Hunters in each of the hold capitals.

Please subscribe and take look. Hope you enjoy

Consider it a humble request? Unfortunately, I only use steam deck and only use mods on the workshop that don't require SKYUI or SKSE. Time it would take to configure the deck for nexus mods simply wouldn't be worth the effort. :(

Oh wow.I haven't worked on this since my old, old computer blew up 9 years ago and took all the master dev files, and the fancy unimplemented quest content I made with it. :(

I'm not going to update this file as its currently stable reasonably balanced and works with 95% of mods out there. (and i don't have the mod tools installed anymore)

Don't Worry, You can Pretty much get what you need by adding a couple of compatible mods from this "Dawnguard army" collection: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=353915287

If i remember correctly Its actually pretty easy to add new quartermaster squads using the creation kit since all the setup work is already done.

In the lost version the named NPC moved around with a squad as the quest progressed

Just have to remove the trigger conditions using the creation kit to make them appear.

Though this is most likely a cleaned up version with incomplete content removed

Can you make a doubled/tripled squads version and add them to every settlement?

@ Cottonmouth...I had similar problems with dead npcs from attacks in town until I installed 'Run For Your Lives' mod. The shopkeeps have lived longer for it, and the stable hands in Whiterun. Before that, vamps killed Belethor, and all stable hands and carriage guy in Whiterun in early games. With it installed, I have seen maybe 2 dead npcs. Mostly during questlines involving killing a vamp leader nearby, the attacks seem to increase a lot when they find out they are in peril. One time had 3 attacks from the in a row.

oh some of those spells have some basic wild card damage multipliers vs certain creatures... nothing fancy... but enough to make you think a little before just spamming everything that moves with them. (it does compensate for them otherwise being a little OP vs vanilla creatures)

Note: "Undead" inclueds vampires (among other things) give them a go an see what burns :)

Why didn't we get that many spells against vampires or werewolves specifically and not just the dead

P.S. Nice looking goods.

saw silver stake, was looking for that. Might switch from other mod to this. The other one added Dawnguard, but I think it may or may not be part of a glitch. So I will keep an eye here.

Sounds to be a very good mod, i also think that Isran and dawnguards have to be more powerfull in the game, they are vampire hunters not a castle decoration.
