Nord Warrior Armor

Description
Proudly introducing my very first mod: the armor of the one true Dragonborn. This is not a replacer for the vanilla Studded and Iron armor- they will co-exist in the game with this mod, which adds an entirely new complete set of medium-high level armor designed to emulate the look of the Dragonborn from the promo images and live action trailer. Thanks to 3ds Max and some excellent tutorials by Nightasy on YouTube, I was able to reshape the armor so the pauldron is now on the character's right shoulder, and retexture all the pieces, to match the promo art.

The female version of this armor uses the male model for the cuirass and helmet (reshaped to be form-fitting of course), so now whether your character is male or female, human or beastfolk, they can look exactly like the promo Dovahkiin and be well protected while doing it.

To craft this magnificent armor, you will need the Advanced Armors perk and a healthy supply of Iron Ingots, Corundum Ingots, Steel Ingots, Leather, Leather Strips, one Snow Bear Pelt for the cuirass and an Ebony Ingot for each piece- for armor this strong to be available so early in the game, you'll have to work a bit for it and gather a good amount of materials.

The armor can only be crafted at the Skyforge, but you DON'T have to be a member of the Companions to forge it. The set includes a Helmet, Cuirass, Gauntlets, Boots, and Shield. This is the Light version of the armor; I also have a Heavy version for those who prefer having high defense, called Nord Champion Armor, which is identical in appearance and requires the same materials and perk to craft, but falls under the Heavy Armor perk and offers even more protection. It can also be found here on the Steam Workshop.

Here are the base stats for the armor:

Cuirass: Value= 1000, Weight= 6, Armor Rating= 40

Helmet: Value= 900, Weight= 3, Armor Rating= 16

Gauntlets: Value= 800, Weight= 2, Armor Rating= 12

Boots: Value= 800, Weight= 2, Armor Rating= 12

Shield: Value= 900, Weight= 6, Armor Rating= 30

------------ UPDATES ------------

6.14.2013: Matching Set perk should now work with the armor.

I love it. However I had to manually adjust the NumUVsets to 4097 and toggle the VertexColors where appropriate and update the tangent spaces in Nifskope in order to get the normal maps to work properly. I'd suggest doing his for the next update. Other than that I'm very pleased with the mod.
