Object Super Locker

Description
Drop this token on an object to make it uninteractable and locked. Flip the token and drop it on the object to undo the effect. Great for table expansions and terrain.

This token must be present when Saving or Loading a Save for its effects to persist so try to refrain from deleting it after super locking objects.

Thanks for the update. I ended up just never letting the object touch any bags again, but I will definitely check it out.

@Baryonyx My apologies for taking so long correct the bag issue but it has been addressed as well as some other derpy issues with the tool.

Hahaha, that’s pretty funny(unless you lost stuff in which case it’s less so)! Sorry about that! If you save and load it when the tool is still in the bag, it should be interactable again. The super lock state(uninteractable) is not persistent across saves and needs to be reapplied by the tool’s script which it can’t do from inside the bag.

I’ll see if I can detect if it’s being dropped on a container and make it not lock those.

I also want to make a board that will ignore the tool so it can be safely placed without causing mayhem... but I’m struggling to get a lot of free time after work at the moment.

I tried to save this in a bag but the token locked the bag before disappearing into it. Now I can not get it out nor unlock the bag. What do I do? xD I don't want to remake this table setup.

I've added persistent saving by borrowing some code from one of MrStump's many offerings. It doesn't quite work with OneWorld unpackings which is what I'm really aiming for.

thank you for the fix. now tokens work and unlocking also doesnt trigger the object to fall anymore

There that should fix it. Jiggy, I did went back and forth on that detail. If it doesn't unlock, it can be difficult to tell that the mod did anything but you're right that not unlocking is more useful if you're just toggling interactivity. I'll change something in the mod to account for that.

Thanks for pointing out the boards SamileonLucis, I think(Although I'm not 100% sure) the issue is that two of the boards have values that trip the part of the script that protects the table from being unlocked. I've swapped them out for boards that can be locked. Thats what I get for rushing my examples.

Ah sorry! I thought those images would go to the Steam cloud. I'll get it corrected. I used to have my own server to host these kinds of things on.
