Black Pearl

This Workshop entry contains the Black Pearl from the Pirate of the Caribbean Movies.


I used real blueprints and measurement tools to recreate the ship as close to the reality as i could. The Pearl consists out of 12500 Pieces. Length and the Height of the Ship are about 60 meters. The Ship Hull is made out of 2m Planks to give it the unique Curvature a Sailing Ship has. For the lower cannon deck the interior is done.


The Cannons are triggerable about the Cannon Control Station infront of the Ship. The Pearl has 3 Shot modes. Port or Starboard Side Fire and Both Sides Fire. To have my custom Cannon Sound ingame, you need to download the Soundfiles on my Google Drive. It is important that you download those 3 Sound Files and add them in your UserMusic Folder of Planet Coaster before you start the game otherwise he will replace the sound with a random sound of planet coaster and the cannons will have no sound. Normally the path is something like this:
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster\UserMusic

I want again to thank everybody supported me on our Build. Never thought that we actually build the Pearl. We only wanted to work on the Pirate of the Caribbean Ride in Disneyland.

Currently my main project is the Recreation of Disneyland Anaheim in Planet Coaster. The Black Pearl will be used as a replacement for the Columbia, a Sailing Ship on the America River Section. You can check out the progress again on my Twitch Page.
