ffs I can't win at 55% because my dumb@$$ advisor keeps going suspiciously silent while a lone zombie claws through my residential walls and infects the entire village in 6 seconds.
Do you have any screenshots of your ideal defense with towers? How far apart should they be spaced etc.
This strategy can be used when you are behind schedule and not expanding as quickly as you would like it.
1) In the Survival, snipers outperform soldiers. AOE kills all the normal zombies (shocking tower, thanatos), leaving only the long range/high hp enemies. The sniper is the best unit against these.
In the campaign, things are different. You don't run into spitters until well after midway through the campaign, and you have to kill large numbers of normal zombies in a short time with minimal resources. In this situation, the soldier is far more cost effective than the sniper - one of my playthroughs actually stalled out because I researched snipers before I could actually use them.
2) A single ranger costs 120 gold - enough to buy 4 houses. Obviously, you'll wind up queuing multiple units for the sake of convenience, but just remember that you can instantly cancel a queued unit for a full refund if needed.
1) why snipers over solders? though ive never tried a ball of 30 i do find i can clear the map or close to it by day 50 using a squad of 6-8 solders and i have access to them sooner
2) why only 1 unit at a time? is the strain of 2 or more centres too much on the economy or is it simply overkill?
Im about to test these things myself but Id welcome any additional feedback.
Thank you
