How to find Dalamadur...kinda.

For those who don`t know him:
Dalamadur is an Elder Dragon introduced in Monster Hunter 4. Dalamadur's Japanese name (Dara Amadyura) is a reference to the Babylonian word for tower which is "Dara" and the Babylonian word for armor which is "Amadyura".
There are the original Dalamadur which has blue-white scales and a subspecies which is called Shah Dalamadur.
This subspecies features a lighter, sand-colored hide with red-orange spines.

There are rumors that more than only one are found in the Rotten Vale so why not look around to find some hints yourself?

Step 1.

Head over to the Rotten Vale and all the way up to the top deck of area 2.
Look on the ground for a climbable trendil that leads you down.

Step 2.

Once you reached the bottom of the vine head right to the edge but don`t jump down.
Now look up and a little to the left and voila, there he is. You`ll be able to see its head and back spikes.

Step 3.

For those who don`t want to travel far to see him, just leave the first camp until you reach the edge but instead of jumping down just look a little to your left and you will see the head.

The head/monster is also shown on the map itself once you press M.

Other Hints

Not only one, but two (and maybe even more) Dalamadur can be found in the Rotten Vale.
If you head down all the way to Vaal Hazarks lair you'll be able to spot yet another huge Dalamadur head, right besides the acid pool, which could also result in the fact that the Rotten Vale consitst of the dead body of on of the largest monsters considering how much (stomache-) acid can be found at the bottom. This one is also quite useful as you can shoot down two of its teeth to drop down onto Vaal Hazark, dealing a nice amount of damage to him.

Last words

If you do decided to go and have a closer look and follow the first two steps, have a good look around, perhaps while using the binoculars, and you might find some interesting doodles on one of the spikes.

yessss!! Dalamadur and dah'ren mohran (i think thats the spelling) and GOGMAZIOS HAAA they were such good fights! I wish Zora Magdaros was as dangerous as these guys.Rise definintely has its moments with big monster arena fights, but it just doesn't capture that feeling of fighting a massive monster in a big ol arena
