Ways to fight back the Oppressor Mk II

Oppressor Mk II is annoying, ok, we all know it. Here are some methods how to fight back the Oppressor Mk II try-hards. Read all the paragraphs, please, because some strategies are intertwined, and you will have to combine them.

Instructions for car drivers:

You see Oppressor Mk II flying towards you, you hit the brake the very same moment, gently open the door, get out of your car, and use your Minigun, Heavy Sniper Mk II with explosive bullets or Marksman Rifle Mk II. While being on foot Oppressor Mk II pilot can't auto-lock his/her missiles on you. Hope he/she goes away after killing him/her few times. Use Lester's off-radar service, and activate CEO's ability ghost organisation, in order to extend your off the radar time. Many kills/deaths warriors become terrified when you go off the radar, as it makes them easier target, thus you have a chance of lowering their kills/deaths ratio. This is a good way of waging psychological warfare on them. Armoured vehicles like the Insurgent Pick-Up Custom and Menacer can keep you alive for quite some time if you are driving with your friend, because your friend can use the machine gun/minigun to kill the Oppressor Mk II pilot and because of the durability of the armour these vehicles provide, but if you are going solo, you can't do much with your Ap Pistol and/or Micro SMG, because of the limited aiming angles and weapon range inside these vehicles.

Instructions for bike riders:

Same as above, except for you can't gently open the door, because you got none, but you can gently get off your bike.

Instructions for fighter heli pilots:

Either land, and do all of the above, or get rekt, son. Or try flying on a really high altitude, because Oppressor Mk II has an issue with its slow vertical ascending, then attempt to fight back. Once you climb on high enough altitude above him/her, try showering him/her with homing missiles or with barrage rockets. Fire a homing missile, wait for two seconds, because the Oppressor Mk II pilot will trigger the flares as soon as the first fired missile approaches him/her, then start raining more homing missiles after the first homing missile has been fired. This way the incoming homing missiles have higher chances of hitting the Oppressor Mk II while he/she has to wait for the flares cooldown. I suggest using Hunter or Akula with homing missiles upgrade attached to it.

Instructions for fighter plane pilots:

Do the same as described for the fighter heli pilots. Start ascending on a high altitude, higher than the enemy pilot, by flying vertically towards the sky. The Oppressor Mk II pilot can not keep up with that manouver, since the Oppressor Mk II has limited ascending manouvering ability. Upon descenting manouver, once you start hunting for the enemy pilot, try to remain above the Oppressor Mk II pilot, and shower him/her with homing missiles, like described above. Take a note, avoid shooting them with bullets, as the damn thing is tiny to spot, specially in the dark, and plane manouvering decreases the accuracy. Combine that with the agile Oppressor Mk II movement, and you can tell why is that a bad idea. I suggest using one of the agile fighter planes with continious missiles firing mode, like Molotok, Pyro or Nokota.

Instructions for commercial/race plane/heli pilots:

Get rekt, son. :-) Seriously, there is not anything you can do, besides going in passive mode. Maybe try to land a plane/heli, and do all of the above, if you manage to survive that long. If you do land, do everything described at the beginning of the guide and in the section below.

Instructions for pedestrians:

Stay on foot and use Minigun, Heavy Sniper Mk II with explosive bullets or Marksman Rifle Mk II. Oppressir Mk II can not auto-lock homing missiles on you, so you will make it harder for the pilot to kill you. Stay in cover, move close to the buildings and narrow passages, around corners, avoid staying in the open for too long. Constant motion is the key. Use both Lester's off-radar service, and activate ghost organization when you register as CEO. That way the enemy pilot will become frustrated, becuase he/she becomes an easy target. Try-hards do not like dying much, because they like to keep their kills/deaths ratio high. Be warned, some pilots are skilled with their flying broomstick, and they know how to take advantage of it. In the hours spent on try-hard dueling and raids they have improved their aim when attacking with missiles. "Stay alive, be fast on the draw, live by the gun or die by the law." - band Manowar.

You made a guide 10000 paragraph guide on how to defend urself against MK.2 and for every vehicle you either say common sense things or just say "same as above" and forgot to mention that jets can just go in circles and the MK.2 missiles wont hit no matter what,just wait till he runs out of missiles or just gives up and then its your turn to attack

@NoTiCe_ makes a good point here too, people will help as long as they get some sort of benfit as well, and rarely you get that one player who actively goes and fights the mk2 which draws its attention away from you

some fights from me and my friends showed that the stromberg actually can take like 8 of the oppressor rockets when its armor is at 100% and it can hit them the moment the lock icon appears with its rockets

Heavy sniper, learn to aim. Most people on the MK2 are noobs so you'll 1 up them most of the time unless you're really unlucky.

upgrade turret insurgent, it can take more rockets than the oppressor can fire
use the flare gun and fire towards a chasing oppressor, the rockets will fly towards the flare and if you're lucky, blow the idiot off his rocket bike
