Introduction!
Lion is one of the most useful attack operators on siege, and is very easy to play once you have a few basics nailed down, making him a good operator for beginners ( in my opinion ).

Below you will find my loadout (however loadout is down to prefrence) and a few tricks and tips to make lion and his ability useful to yourself and your team.

The Loadout
Again, the key to playing lion well is not his loadout, but below is the loadout I use for him and have had quite a bit of success with.

Primary Weapon: V308 [ACOG, Compensator, Vertical Grip, Laser]

Secondary Weapon: P9 [Muzzle Break, Laser]

Gadget: Stun Grenade

^ The reason I chose the stun grenade, is that some peoples first reaction when stunned is to run for where they think the closest piece of cover is...if your EE-ONE-D is active this will be benificial.

EE-ONE-D
Lions ability is a motion trackin drone, and it does exactly what it says on the tin, if someone moves while it is active, their position is given away. but remember, they are made aware that you are scanning and can opt to stay still to avoid detection.

now this doesn't sound all that complex, but what you have to bear in mind is that you are limited to two scans with the EE-ONE-D so using them at the right times can be the key to victory.

DO NOT USE YOUR EE-ONE-D AT THE BEGINNING OF A ROUND

although it may sound like a good idea to give your team an idea of the enemies location right as you spawn, it is almost always a waste to use the EE at this time in a round. the reason being that the enemy team is under no real pressure at that time, so there is no reason they cant stand still and avoid detection. thus wasting one of your scans.

The key time to use your EE is when approaching an OBJ room or any room that there is likely to be an enemy in, drop a scan and when you get a motion signature, open fire, through soft walls or door barricades. this is the way I get most kills as lion but it is not the only way you EE can be effective...

Think about it...if you do a scan with your drone and get no motion signatures, what does that mean? its means that all the enemies are stood still. Sometimes when I'm playing with friends we'll approach the objective and I'll drop a scan, if we get movement, brilliant. If not, we storm the room knowing that the enemies will be stood still, this isn't as effective as the method when movement is detected, but sometimes it can be a round ending play with the right amount of surprise and is a great way of making sure the use of your EE-ONE-DD hasn't gone to waste.

Conclusion
In summary, Lion is a good operator that only requires you to learn a little bit of timing and some map knowledge to be a big team player and make some potentially huge game changing plays for yourself and your teamates!
