5 Star Prison Resort

Description
Made this prison for some fun, I added money to the save file in order to build this quickly. Living conditions are improved as the prioners security class raises. Prison is making quite a bit of money while providing top quality food and living. I created this using a small map as I noticed a lot of lagging issues with large prisons when there are a lot of areas with different floor tiles built on them.

- Min security share a shower with another prisoner but are only locked in by the front entrance.

- General pop. enjoy TVs and weight benches in seperate wooden floored, cabin style living. Some prisoners have shared quarters with another prisoner with a pool table in a shared space.

- Max security get the sweet life. Each with his own pool table, marble flooring and an ensuite bathroom.

- UPDATE NOTES -

- I originally had 2 sets of laundries and cleaning cupboards however 1 of each was not functional. To fix this I have expanded a single laundry and cleaning cupboard.

- I had 2 kitchens and 2 canteens however the chefs would only work in one kitchen and generally fail to stock one canteen leaving a group of prisoners hungry. To fix this I have expanded the kitchen and canteen areas so now there is one large canteen all prisoners share. The old canteen has been converted into a common room for the maximum security prisoners.

- Added a staff door to main entrance area. I noticed staff, chefs particularly, were taking a long time to gather items from the delivery area. I figured this would speed up the process as they now only have one door that needs to be opened by a guard. I consider this 'safe' as there is still a large locked door before the staff door so prisoners shouldn't be able to get to it without a guard being nearby to bust him if he tries breaking the door and escaping. The side effect of this though is that the guards will often bring new prisoners in through the staff door rather than using the jail door at the front entrance. Workers will still use both jail doors to take garbage out but I don't think this matters too much, it was done more to help speed up the chefs.

- Shared quarters in general population area had large prison doors. These don't open during shower, work, yard etc so the guards would be required to open the doors sometimes resulting in long waits at the locked doors. To fix this I have set workers to install 2 jail doors and remove the large door, replacing it with brick wall. They have finished one so far and should quickly finish the rest.

Haha, you can tell it's been a very long time since I've played this. Thanks for the compliment.

Pool tables don't increase the quality counter, sadly.
Still, great prison.

I haven't taken a look at it in ages but you could probably raise the quality counter significantly by moving objects around or increasing the area the cells. For example, the pool tables are in "common rooms" so they aren't effecting cell quality but if you increase the cell to include the pool table I imagine the extra space + the pool table would raise it significantly.

Yeah, this was made a very long time before room quality became a measureable feature for prison cells. It was a purely superficial venture.

Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, but the logistics rates the rooms low

Room quality counter is somewhat low in the logistics.

Don't think I'm allowed to post cheat details on here, Google: "edit money in prison architect save file". It should be the first thing that comes up.

It's VERY easy, you just edit the save file :)
