How to Micspam From spotify(or anything else, like youtube)

In this simple to follow guide, i will teach you how to micspam, from spotify, youtube, anything you might want!

prerequisites

Below is a list of software you will need.
Audio router[github.com]
Virtual Audio Cable
Spotify Desktop application (optional)

Step 1, Download Audio Router

Extract it to a place where you can remember it easily.

Step 2, Download & configure VAC

So for this, it's paid. im not going to endorse pirating. it is possible to find a cracked version, however that's not recommended since you can get malware from that.
Once it's paid for, and downloaded, simply run the installer for your system architecture.
If you have a 64bit OS, use setup64 and if you have a 32bit OS, use setupx86

After it's been installed, thats it! You may need to change your input and outpur deviced in your system sounds.

Step 3, Getting ready to micspam!

Step 1. Set your default microphone to line 1




Step 2. Open the program you'll be micspamming from.
in this example i'll be using Spotify.


Step 3. Open audio router, it will look like this




Then, click on the arrow underneath of spotify



After you've done that, click on route, and select line 1, and soft routing (if you have discord open, and you dont select soft routing, you will need to restart discord in order to have audio from it again. just press "CTRL + R" while in discord.)




You're almost done! After thats done, you'll need to have a bind to toggle your microphone, and voice_loopback to hear your spam.
Below, i've pasted the bind setup i personally use. Just paste it into your autoexec.cfg and execute it in game (open console and run "exec autoexec")

bind kp_enter toggle
alias toggle "micspamon"
alias micspamon "alias toggle micspamoff; +voicerecord; voice_loopback 1"
alias micspamoff "alias toggle micspamon; -voicerecord; voice_loopback 0"

Final notes

while this is active, you wont be able to hear audio from spotify or youtube unless you're spamming in game.

Yes, this does also work with youtube, just click on "file" in the top left of audio router, and click on switch view"
Then double click "yourbrowserhere.exe" and do as you did with spotify.

im stuck on the last step, i keep getting an error that says "The system cannot find the file specified. Router functionality not available." any halp plz i wanted to upgrade my software to spotify instead of exp so it has better quality and i could turn down the music :/
