Magician's Familiars

Description
Magician's Familiars is a mod that allows the player to gain the companionship of a summonable creature that provides a minor buff but mostly just companionship.

The mod is intended for the most part to supplement the flavor of a magician travelling the holds of Skyrim while still providing a mechanical benefit.

Features include:

- Six creatures to choose from: Bear, Mudcrab, Sabre Cat, Spider, Skeever and Wisp.
- The player can switch between familiars by visiting one of the six idol locations.
- A short quest that gives you a rough idea of the location of each idol allowing you to figure the rest out for yourself, this was intended to allow the player to maintain it as part of his story.
- Each familiar provides a minor buff to three skills.

The mod was created as my first delve into papyrus script, quest and content making using the Skyrim Creation Kit.

Magician's Familiars is a mod by Leon Field a Games Design and Programming student at Stafford University, UK.

Ok so I found the wisp idol. Activating it did nothing. It appears that the wisp idol is also broken like the mudcrab one that Zeus_Almighty13 is reporting.

If you are still working on this, I would personally highly enjoy a raven (You can just retexture an eagle for ease) that flies a good distance above me in the sky following me, and would circle around above where I am standing outside, and perches outside waiting for me when I head indoors. I just feel like this could add alot of flavor to the game, especially with my plan to RP as Vegtam the Wanderer, which was the identity taken on by Odin during some of his travels in the world of men.

I found an idol, but the button to interact with it is closed. Huh? I checked the book and it has nothing on this.
PS: mudcrab

Go to Whiterun, in the place the jarl of whiterun is in, there is a book. The book alludes to the locations.
