Characters & Mods - Quick Reference Sheet

This guide serves as a quick reference for every character\mod combo currently available in the PC version of Sonic And All-Stars Racing Transformed. This includes the DLC Character(s) and contains UNMARKED SPOILERS.

Introduction

Hello everyone!

After playing SASRT for well over 180 hours and feeling rather useless for not contributing anything to the Steam SASRT community, I wanted to add a really nice, high-quality visual guide to every character-and-mod-combos's stats currently available in this ultimate version of the game.

This is still something of a Work-In-Progress, so constructive feedback and suggestions would be extremely useful. Thanks!!

Sonic The Hedgehog

The character who's name is plastered on the front of the box art and the world's kid-friendliest badass.

Miles "Tails" Prower

Sonic's best friend and\or little brother and a genius engineer with a thing for aviation. May or may not be a mythical japaneese entity known as a Kitsune.

Knuckles The Echidna

Sonic's would-be rival and guardian of Angel Island and the Master Emerald. He is often portrayed as extremely gullible.

AiAi

A half-dressed cartoon monkey renowned for rolling around inside a humongous hamster ball and hoarding more bananas than Donkey Kong and King Kong put together.

Beat

A roller-blading grafitti artist and leader of a grafitti gang known as The GG's. He's used grafitti to blow up freaking tanks!

Amy Rose

The biggest Sonic fanboy in the universe, and wielder of the massive (and massively scary) Piko-Piko Hammer.

B.D. Joe

B.D. Joe drives his actual people-carrying Taxi pretty much the same way he drives his racing Taxi: like a total maniac. Yet, he's said to be incredibly laid-back.

MeeMee

ANOTHER banana-hoarding hamsterball monkey that's somehow related to AiAi. S&SASR says AiAi and MeeMee are destined to marry. You'd think they were siblings by looking at them...

Ulala

Space Channel 5's hippest news reporter and resident midriff-bearer. She was able to save the galaxy through the awesome powers of dancing... TWICE!

Wreck-It Ralph

Disney's walking love letter to gamers everywhere... provided you're a gamer that was around when Video Arcades were popular.

Amigo

Half mexican stereotype, half party animal, all image-quality-loss (SEE: Super Handling screenshot). He's somehow able to communicate purely through non-electronic insturments.

Danica Patrick

A real-life NASCAR driver that's as-of-this-writing driving a SEGA\Hot Wheels\GoDaddy sponsored car! Her appearance in this game has been met with mixed reactions.

Shadow The Hedgehog

The angst-ridden Ultimate Lifeform, created aboard the Space Colony "ARK" around 50 years before Sonic Adventure 2 was released. (so... 1951?)

Vyse

A Sky Pirate that flies under the banner of the Blue Rogues, known for taking the Valuan Empire head-on and escaping their "impenetrable" prison\fortress TWICE.

Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik

A genius scientist that's been terrorizing Sonic and his friends for years. And by "terrorizing" I mean "getting Blast Processed in the face by".

NiGHTS

A Nightopian that's actually a rebelious Nightmaren. He\She\It has the ability to transform into a plethora of fantastic creatures... and apparently sports vehicles.

Gum

Described by DJ Professor K as "A real cool lady that leaves a trail of broken hearts wherever she goes". All I want to know is WHO NAMES THEIR KID "GUM"?!

Joe Musashi

The original "Shinobi" who fought the criminal orginization Zeed after they kidnapped his students. His lines in this game manage to out-deadpan even Shadow.

Pudding

Channel 42's star reporter and Ulala's fiercest competition. She's quickly become infamous for yelling her own name at the top of her lungs way too often.

Gilius Thunderhead

A dwarvish battle-axe fighter who's brother was killed by Death Adder. He responded in kind by hunting down Death Adder and his entire demonic army.

Reala

NiGHTS' brother... sister... sibling, created by nightmare king Wizeman. He seems to share more than a few animations with his purple counterpart.

AGES

A sentient Dreamcast "Visual Memory Unit" (VMU) that can transform into the Hornet stock car from Daytona USA, an F-14 Tomcat from After Burner, and a Dreamcast Controller-shaped speedboat!!

Alex Kidd

SEGA's attempted answer to Nintendo's Mario before Sonic The Hedgehog came along. Alex Kidd is unlocked by playing the game after December 24th 2012, effectively making him a starter character for late buyers and Steam players

Metal Sonic

The on-disc DLC character introduced in Sonic CD. He's reused his robo-gibberish voice clips in a downright absurd number of games.

Football Manager

The second PC-exclusive character, and the semi-faceless man seen in promotional material for Football Manager 2012. He's even voiced by Football Manager's creator, Miles Jacobson!

Shogun

An anonymous Samurai Assassin representing the Total War franchise. He is one of the three PC exclusive characters and easily puts Avatars and Miis to shame.

Team Fortress

A crossover dream-team of the Heavy, the Pyro, and the Spy from the famous Team Fortress 2. Easily the best console-exclusive character(s) in the history of racing games.

General Winter

A generic soviet commander representing Company Of Heroes 2. He was shoehorned introduced to the game after Sega acquired Relic Entertainment.

Willemus

An ancient Roman centurion representing Total War: Rome II. You know the man has guts of steel when he carries a shortsword with him while driving. He uses the Saturn Mod for some reason.

Yogscast (Simon Lane)

By far the most controversial character introduced to the game; even more controversial than putting Sonic in a car or Tails in a plane. Let's just leave it at that. (Thanks for the screencaps, Xenn!)
