Hello! I'm evil_ryu87 and this is my first guide!

I'm gonna show you how to unlock all the achievements of this great game, as well as some tips to do it without lose your mind.

Feel free to share your opinion about it!

Achievements unlocked performing an action only once

These achievements will pop up when a concrete task is done once; it doesn't matter the difficulty, character, or finishing the run.

For the Holy Seeds of the Great Bamboo

Go Through a Teleporter

As the instruction says, use a Teleporter (a Teleport platform) by touching it. You will encounter one at the end of every level.

Murderer and Thief

Rob a store

Enter a shop, and shoot the shopkeeper. He will go hostile towards you. Kill him and his drone to obtain the achievement.

NOTE: doing this allows to get items of the shop for free, but the shops of the next levels of the game will be closed and can't be reached until you start a new run.

Arcade Master

Complete Feral Fighters with at least 9000 points

Feral Fighters is an arcade game reminiscent of old shool arcade space shooters like Galaga. The arcade machine randomly spawns in shops and secret rooms; walking to it will let you play a round for one coin. You can usually play a few rounds per machine, but it will eventually break.

To get the achievement you'll need to beat the arcade game (two stages and a boss) and score over 9000 points. The tip here is that after killing a few enemy waves, eventually you'll see a glowing green circle. It will give you a temporary attack speed boost, which have great value at the boss level.

Platinum

You will get this achievement when you have all the others. Good job, soldier!

Achievements unlocked in One-Run only

These ones only can be obtained ending the run by beating the last boss (depending the difficulty level), or after completing a number of concrete steps, but they must be done in the same run.

Warming Up

Complete Easy Mode

All you need to do is to complete all the stages on Easy with any character.

Ett

Complete Stage 1 on Normal difficulty

You need to complete Stage 1 on Normal with any character.

Complete Stage 2 on Normal difficulty

Same as before, but on Stage 2.

Tre

Complete Stage 3 on Normal difficulty

Same as before, but on Stage 3.

The King has Fallen

Complete Normal Mode

Like Warming Up achievement, you need to complete all the stages on Normal with any character.

Fire

Complete Stage 4 on Hard difficulty

You have to beat Stage 4 on Hard difficulty with any character.
NOTE: may be bugged, because I unlocked it beating Stage 4 on Normal difficulty.

Victory

Complete Stage 5 with a Panda Marine

This only can be done on Hard difficulty. You must complete Stage 5 with the Panda Marine character.

Mission Accomplished

Complete Stage 5 with Admiral Pawgarr

This only can be done on Hard difficulty. You must complete Stage 5 with Admiral Pawgarr character.

Target Eliminated

Complete Stage 5 with Rose the Red

This only can be done on Hard difficulty. You must complete Stage 5 with Rose the Red character.

Vengeance

Complete Stage 5 with The Traitor

This only can be done on Hard difficulty. You must complete Stage 5 with The Traitor character.

Shaanxi IV, do you read me?

Defeat The Corrupted with a Panda Marine

The Corrupted is a secret boss which can be encountered when the Talisman Portal has been opened. See "Through Time and Space" achievement explanation.

In this case, you need to beat this boss with the Panda Marine character.

Admiral, please respond!

Defeat The Corrupted with Admiral Pawgarr

Same as before, but using Admiral Pawgarr character.

We've lost all contact

Defeat The Corrupted with Rose the Red

Same as before, but using Rose the Red character.

May the holy seed be with them

Defeat The Corrupted with The Traitor

Same as before, but using The Traitor character.

Back Where it Belongs

Return the Missing Book

This cannot be done on Easy difficulty. Follow these steps in order to unlock this achievement:

Find a secret level Portal, which is hidden behind a wall. The Teleport platform to this secret level can be on any level of the first two Stages (except the boss levels), but most commonly found on Stage 2-1.
In the secret level, find the mini-boss (a ghost surrounded by books) and kill him. He will drop a book which you have to pick up.
Exit the secret level and reach Stage 4-3. In this level, find the library and fill the only free space there is on the shelves. Achievement will unlock here and you'll get the last key too (for opening a Secret door).

Standard-bearer

Get 150 000 points in a Daily Run

You can access to the Daily Run on the main menu of the game. It consists on a random run with a 3 starter items and a permanent curse (the difficulty and the character are random too).

There's a score located on the top-center of the screen; it's decreasing indefinitely, so in order to go up, you must explore rooms and kill enemies.

Reach 150 000 points (it doesn't matter finishing the run), and you'll get it.

Dodge 'n' Roll

Complete an Entire Stage Without Taking Damage on Normal or Hard Difficulty

As the description says, you must complete all levels of any Stage to achieve this on Normal or Hard. The Stage 1 is the easiest to obtain it with Rose the Red, because it has a great rate of fire.

Breaking curses

Complete Curse Mode

Gain access to Curse Mode by pushing the down button when you are in the difficulty select screen, over the Normal difficulty option. Curse Mode is basically Hard Mode + permanent curses on the run.

You will start with a curse, and you will receive one more whenever you complete a level of each Stage. They are PERMANENT. ALL of THEM. Be careful with Wishing Wells or Random Syringes, because sometimes they will give you a curse too.

The best item in this mode is the activated collectible "Fairy Dust"; it will remove all the curses from you each time is activated. So, if you have great luck finding this item (or purchasing it in a shop), the difficulty decreases significantly.

Complete the 5 stages, and you will get the reward of this really hard task.

Achievements unlocked on several runs

These achievements can be obtained through several runs, because they have accumulative progress.

Where we go to die

Send 10 Marines into Battle

All you need to do is playing 10 runs with the Panda Marine character from start to finish. By 'finish', I mean that you need to finish the game (either dying or reaching the end of the game). The difficulty doesn't matter here.

Merchants and Traders

Unlock all Secret Doors

You need to unlock 4 doors like the one portrayed on this achievement. These Secret doors appear randomly on different levels through the run. To unlock them, you need 4 keys.

NOTE: once you acquired a key, it will be placed in your inventory until it's used, regarding the run or character. The locations are:

Two of them can be acquired on the Upgrade menu. One costs 750 orbs, and the another one 1500 orbs.
One of them can be obtained by killing the shopkeeper located on Stage 2-2.
For the last one, see "Back Where it Belongs" achievement explanation.

Through Time and Space

Open the Talismans Portal

The Talisman Portal is located in the room on the right in Stage 4-2 and can only be accessed on Hard mode. To activate the Portal, you need to collect 4 talismans and place them in the four circular spots in the above mentioned room.

NOTE: like keys, once you acquired a talisman, it will be placed in your inventory until it's used, regarding the run or character.

The locations are:

One can be purchased at the Upgrade menu. Costs 1500 orbs.
You get one talisman for completing the game on Normal difficulty.
You get another one for completing it on Hard difficulty.
The last one is located in a secret level. The entrance is in a secret room, near the Talisman Portal room; blow the wall of the right, and you'll find it.

Make a Wish

Close 10 Wishing Wells

Find a room which contains a well. You need to get close to the well; your character start to drop coins in it. Drop coins until it closes (you will receive an item or a Curse). Do it 10 times on different wells and the achievement is yours.

Dispenser

Spend 30 Coins on Vending Machines

All you need to do is spending 30 coins using vending machines (same or different machine/s). Usually located on the last room of the level, although can be located in secret rooms too.

Risk-Reward

Use 9 Syringe Rooms

The Syringe Rooms will grow all your stats up at the cost of one permanent health unit. They are green outlined rooms which will appear on your mini-map.

In order to use it, go to the center of the room, and stay in the middle circle to get the Syringe.

Get it 9 times, and the achievement will pop up.

Shopper

Unlock 10 upgrades

You need to buy ten upgrades on the Upgrade menu with orbs. Orbs are acquired killing most enemies, so whenever you end a run, it's good to purchase one each time at least.

Wander

Squash 20 lizards

These lizards are small creatures like the portrayed one on this achievement. Appears randomly in rooms, and after a small amount of time, they hide on the walls/obstacles. To squash them, do a roll maneuver (or simply walk) over them. Do it 20 times; easy, baby!
