Past version's like HK's one had many things that got on my nerves so I changed them.
Here's what I did.

I used the revised setup and 7.2 rules.

The problem is nobody on the bloody internet has the revised map. NOBODY.
So I had to use photos and youtube videos to help me see the map piece by piece. Used mspaint to modify the original 1939 global map to make the territories and sea zone connect to what they are in the revised map.
To the naked eye they might look the same if you compare this to HK's version.
Some examples:
- London and Liverpool aren't the same.
- Baku touches Tehran and Iran now.
- Rio de Oro touches sea zone 53 and 34 now.
-Istanbul touches sea zone 44 now.
and many others that I'm too lazy or forgetful to type.
I'm serious, if someone could give me a hd scanned version of the revised map that would be amazing. Because it looks 10 times better than this version of the map.

- The convoy zone next to madagascar was changed from UK to FEC to conform with the revised version of the map.
- Added Green V box for victory point cities if you wish to play with that.
- Added Red C box for territories that contain a capital. I only did it for multi-province entities.
- Changed the dice towers.
- Replaced the money with little counters. Much simpler and clearer. Money is still there if you wish to use it.
- Put 2 minor complex in calcutta and Sydney to represent the fact that they can build 6 units.
- Added the specific rules to every starting fortifications in the game. Just hover your mouse on it.
- Changed the massive useless rules that were on top. Slowly in the process of changing them all and correcting my horrible caligraphy.
- The 4 minor axis insignia below germany where not in the same order as the text above stating their income. Was flaring my ocd so I changed them to the right order.
- Added some more rules on the tech chart for clarity.
- Changed the income chart. Chart was taken from 1940 europe so it had printed roundels on numbers. Wrong numbers for this version because this is HBG 1939. Removed the roundels and only kept the US and russian. Put them on 80 and 48 to a have a visual cue when they can go to war.
- Changed the battleboard. Original was completely useless. Wasted so much time checking all the combat values.
Put a little symbol of the unit and it's name. I only put the normal units. I didn't put the special units of every power. like veteran, commandos or naval bombers. I was afraid it was gonna get too cluttered.

There's also a random crash inherited from the original version of this file. Don't know what causes it. Could happen two seconds in, could take 12 hours to manifest.


IMPORTANT!!!

THIS IS STUFF I CHANGED FROM THE NORMAL GAME. You can easily change it back if you want to play with the REAL REAL thing. I just changed it for personal preference.

Some territories have their values modified.
Leningrad: 3, originally 2
Karelia:1, originally 2
Murmansk: 0, originally 1
Archangel: 2, originally 1
-The major from karelia was changed to Leninggrad instead. (because a major on a 2 value territory is silly)
- Added a minor in archangel.
- Added minor IC in Reims and Marseilles (shouldnt changed alot in the game but my OCD was flaring up. Like where did the bloody french boats even come from?)
- Madras, Hong Kong and South Africa all are supposed to have 2 naval bases. I simplified by putting 1 naval base in the middle. So that's only one target to bomb. Because having 2 is silly. See it as a National advantage.
- Gibraltar only had on naval base facing 35. Again very silly considering the size of real life Gibraltar. So I moved the naval base in the middle. One naval base for 35 and 36.

I'm not entirely sure why you don't just integrate the fix for https://polaris.temporum.net/ts/aa/1940/models/allies/common/m3_scout_car.obj mentioned in the description on the workshop upload.

Hey, if you have the revised map and it's a file with a proper resolution, I'll happily discard alot of the changes I made to the old map and use yours instead.

I have the original map file from this before they made it unsaveable I believe.. I bought the original 5"x8" map way back and loved it, and made sure to copy the file in 2013. Altho you have made a lot small graphical changes dunno if you are still looking for that file or not. I've been custom making an awesome rendition of the game myself reworking a huge amount of the map. I just learned about this tabletop simulator and will likely need to make my game mods live on here!

That's exactly the thing I was trying to avoid when creating this mod.
I don't know why the files keep referncing back to those.
The extensions contain typos made by the original guy and I guess nobody ever bothered to slap him about it.

Try these instead when the error appears.

I just uploaded it because a friend wanted to try it earlier.
I'm still gonna need to do a few more touch ups on the rule
and clarifiy what exactly I did. I wouldn't called it ready yet.
