Hero Quest, Advanced

Description
This is the fully expanded version of the game. Everything has been laid out to be easily accessable. Everything has been sized and scaled, as well as premium models selected.

This version of the game comes without a DM screen. It was a logical choice to make, the DM screen didn't add any value whatsoever. For nostalgiac reasons I can see the DM screen being cool, but playing this game on TTS, the DM screen does nothing but block your view, get in the way, and overall be extremely annoying. I hid the thing 99% of the time, so I chose to remove it completely, and frankly, the game is much smoother without it.

I have designed the UI for this game to be extremely fluid. Everything is at your fingertips. Everything is in infinity bags. The expansions and all of their related monsters, equipment and books are clearly identified and laid out for easy access by the DM.

I have included a houserule errata. It is untested so you may use it if you like, and you also may use it in your own mods. Line of sight and the "look" function are the two most vague rules in the game and so to avoid many conflicts I have added the houserule booklet. I believe the houserule errata adds a layer to the game that was simply unavailable before. You can now effectively sneak around the map, only revealing what you want to. Technically, using the base rules, the hero could run across the entire map, never revealing a door or a monster, until the hero performed a look. I utterly disagree with the way this rule is written and so I feel the expanded errata is necessary for proper game play. Being an oldschool gamer from back in the day there was just a way you played these grid-like table top games, as well as RPG"s on nintendo and SNES. The method was you enter a room, the room is revealed. You enter a corridor, the corridor is revealed. It was common sense back then, but now with all these advanced games out there, the assumptious nature of table top gaming has been eliminated and every little thing has to be explained. That's why I feel the need to add an errata that fixes many of these "bugs", ironing out exactly how these functions work, and providing a solid platform by which the DM and the players can have a fair match.

Please feel free to comment or request updates or bug fixes. Enjoy the mod and please feel free to make changes and re-upload it as your own. The original version of this mod was Hero Quest, Master Edition. Check that one out for the original. Thanks :)

There isn't one. It does nothing but get in the way.

From observing the images above, where is the GM Screen?
