[Quest] Recnam Rising

Description
Recnam Rising is a quest mod which features a storyline in which you help the mysterious Ether Recnam.

Features

+ Over 10 new areas to explore, from dark forests to deep catacombs.

+ New enemies and allies, participate in some impressive battles when they clash!

The Quest
Ether Recnam has arrived in the Estherian Enclave and needs your help! Assist him as you explore Lamhet and its surrounding countryside which has been overrun by undead. Hack your way through deep caverns filled with bandits, fight in a climatic battle within the ancient catacombs of Old Tiyc, and affect the land in irrevocable ways.

In Recnam Rising, you'll find a number of handcrafted levels, a unique and fleshed out storyline, bosses that will test your mettle (at any level, from 1 to 100), along with new enemies and allies to help and hurt you throughout your adventure.

Compatibility
If playing with Synergies, place Recnam Rising above Synergies in the load order. This will disable the Synergies vendores in the Enclave for as long as Recnam Rising is enabled. Thankyou to Attlas for this information.

Also, this mod does not need to be enabled after you've completed the quest. So give it a shot, have a good time, and uncheck the box. Simple as that.

Updates
This mod will be updated should there be bugs that need fixing, but content patches have now ceased. Thanks to everyone who played during the beta and gave me input, it was great!

actually these quest feel like a rip off of Adventure pack 2... I could be wrong tho, warning if you love adventure pack 2 mod do not use this mod will break most the quests, which will ruin the end game for you... advice play each one separate decide which one you think is better no doubt AP2 is better in my opini:steamsad:on

I read all the comments. I read the description. Then i thought, “what the pickles?” Lets do this.
After echo pass, an npc is in the first town. Talk to him twice to get this going. He teleports you to a new location.
No spoilers? Ok. Its a good quest. Engaging and tough.
My recomendation would be to wait till your a higher lvl. No vendors in this new area. If your low lvl, youll die a lot. Lol.
I am currently at the place were you fight the necromancer and the netherthing. Get my butt handed to me.with the mod, no problems, no glitches, no issues have i found the only thing is no vender, and didnt know if i could leave the quest area at all. (To get supplies).

I concur with Ketzerei below, those bosses were ultra mega rough. I've also gotten myself stuck with no apparent means of escape. After finishing the quest and returning to the main game I returned to Lamhet via a previously placed portal scroll. Now I have no means to escape. Your update list indicates this was fixed a long time back but I just downloaded a few days ago and it is still very much a problem.

All in all a very enjoyable and challenging run. Thanks.

Hey there does anyone know why the side and main dungeons crash when I try to enter them?

A few items:
1) Skeletal Outpost needs a portal back to the surface.
2) The ghost which gives the Oldport quest needs to be moved slightly - characters can currently get stuck behind him when porting back from Oldport.
3) Holy knockback and aoe spell spam batman! I entered this, as a Berserker, at level3(right after Echo Pass), finished at level 15, used 407 potions(needed more, ran out of gold!), died 62 times. Many of the bosses would one-shot me before I ever got a hit in on them, the trash packs throughout most areas would knock me back repeatedly across half my screen or cover my screen with ground aoes leaving me unable to get close enough to take them out.

4)The scaling works decently well, but it's extraordinarily harsh on lower level melee players. Perhaps take a look at rebalancing some of the mobs and boss abilities so that it scales better for lower levels?
