Wolfenstein II: 100% Collectibles Guide + Commander Stealth Kills (including Ubercommanders)
By JacksSR
Hello Wolfenstein players! This guide has two purposes - 1. to show you where to find all the readables, starcards, concept arts, gold items and vinyl records scattered throughout the game are and 2. to share strategies for quietly dispatching the commanders without setting off alarms, if that's your bag. The main campaign is fully covered in 7 parts, each part covers multiple levels and the timings for each level will be shown accordingly if you want to skip to a specific level. For those who just want to see the stealth gameplay, the timings for that will be shown also. Full disclosure: 3 commander sections have not been played stealthily, those sections have been flagged accordingly. Hopefully you will understand why stealth wasn't used, however I'm sure there are strategies for ghosting them too (I may update the guide if I do return to the game later and try to ghost every kill)

Edit: 11 Sept - The Ubercommander missions have now been completed and added! If you're looking for 100% completion then look no further! All of the collectibles, ubercommander and side quest achievements can be yours if you follow the guide. If you're a stealth player this guide is for you too - there are strategies for silently dispatching every ubercommander. If you are after the Ghost achievement this guide also has that covered (see below).

Hope you enjoy and find it useful, please feel free to leave any feedback (no trolling guys).

All the best,

JacksSR

  • Commanders 5 & 6 - 9:05

  • Commander 3 - 16:18

Part 2 'Manhattan'
This guide covers all the collectibles you can find as you play through the 3 Manhattan levels, plus the additional collectibles that become available back aboard your home base Eva's Hammer ('Old Secrets'). I've also used stealth kills for all the commanders except one - when you engage the Zitadelle mech warrior the alarm is raised automatically so stealth is unnecessary. Game played on 'Call Me Terror Billy!' difficulty.

If you want to skip to specific levels, the timings are shown below:
  • Level 5 - Downtown (Harbour District) 0:13
  • Level 6 - Midtown (Ruins District) 17:58
  • Level 7 - State Building 27:33
  • Level 8 - Old Secrets (Eva's Hammer) 30:47

STEALTH Gameplay
Harbour
  • Commanders 1 & 2 - 3:10
  • Commander 3 - 13:03
Midtown
  • Commander 1 - 19.05
  • Commander 2 - 26:00 (No stealth)
Part 3 'Roswell'
Welcome to part 3 of my guide covering all the collectibles plus strategies for stealth killing the commanders in the second of the new Wolfenstein games. This guide has you covered for the all the readables, starcards, concept arts, gold items and vinyl records available in the Roswell levels of the main game (the collectibles in the Uberkommandant missions will be covered in a later video). The timings for the different levels are shown below:

  • Level 9: Roswell City - 0:12
  • Level 10: Underground Station - 4:40
  • Level 11: Rocket Train - 13:14
  • Level 12: Elevator & Hangar - 15:55

STEALTH Gameplay - Video Timecodes

As a side note, this video has the challenging stealth kill in the whole game. If you pull this off you'll have stealth nailed, no problem.

UNDERGROUND STATION
  • Commander - 4:45
ROCKET TRAIN
  • Commander - 13:42
ELEVATOR & HANGAR
  • Commander 1 - 16:00 (the longest and most difficult in the game)
  • Commanders 2 & 3 - 25:00

Part 4 'Monster' & 'A New Suit'
The guide continues with the levels that are guaranteed to leave you going 'WTF!' the first time you play through the campaign. There are a lot of collectibles around BJ's ranch so make sure you don't miss out. This video also shows how you can get your contraption upgrade. Played on 'Call me Terror-Billy!' difficulty. Timings for each level in the video are shown below. Any feedback is welcome.

  • Level 13 - The Ranch 0:13
  • Level 15 - Contraptions 5:30
  • Level 16 - Recover the New Orleans Dossier 10:09

STEALTH Gameplay (Level 16)
  • Commander 1 - 10:10
  • Commander 2 - 12:08
  • Commander 3 - 15:02
  • Commanders 4 & 5 - 20:18

Part 5 'New Orleans'
Welcome to part 5 of my collectibles guide for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which all shows stealth kill tactics for various commanders. This video covers the 3 campaign levels in New Orleans, with timings for each level shown below. Not every commander has been stealthily taken down, and you'll see why. There are a very large number of collectibles in these levels, which is why the video is a bit longer than the others. If you enjoy the video or find it useful, please consider helping out my channel by liking and/or subscribing. Thanks!

  • 17th Level - Rescue Horton 0:14
  • 18th Level - Revolution 20:13
  • 19th Level - Lakeview 32:47

STEALTH Gameplay (not entirely stealthy I'm afraid, though you'll hopefully see why)
Level 17
- Commanders 1 & 2 - 3:08
- Commanders 3 & 4 - 12:22
Level 18
- Commander 1 - 20:16 (zero stealth - riding panzerhund)
- Commander 2 - 29:49
Level 19
- Commander - 34:22 (zero stealth - submarine crash)

Part 6 'Venus'
We're into the business end of the main game now, just the final showdown left after this (and then we'll get to the Ubercommandant missions after that). If you find this video useful or entertaining, please consider helping out the channel by liking/subscribing/ringing the bell/sharing/commenting etc, etc. This vid covers the two levels in the Venus chapter, timings are shown below. If you're not bothered about collectibles and just want to see the stealth sections, timings for them are also shown below. Played on 'Call me Terror Billy!' difficulty.

  • The Audition - 0:12
  • The Surface - 8:22

Stealth Gameplay
The Audition
  • Commanders 1 & 2 - 1:31
The Surface
  • Commander 1 - 8:26
  • Commander 2 - 12:15
  • Commanders 3 & 4 - 16:28
  • Commander 5 - 24:43

Part 7 'Lost at Sea' & 'The Ausmerzer'
Welcome to the final part of the main campaign, which includes a brief trip back to the Eva's Hammer, where two new collectibles are unlocked, then on to the final level back on board the Ausmerzer. The only collectibles here are readables, however there are 7 commanders so this video is heavily stealth focussed. There's a bonus extra in here too! If you want to skip directly to the stealth sections, the timings are shown below. Game played on 'Call me Terror-Billy!' difficulty.

Stealth Gameplay
  • Commander 1 - 1:55
  • Commanders 2 & 3 - 3:19
  • Commander 4 - 5:38
  • Commanders 5 & 6 - 8:27
  • Commander 7 - 10:02

Ubercommander Missions - Manhattan
The main game is over but there's still more to do to get that 100% completion and all the achievements that go with it. So here is the first video of the Uberkommandant (or ubercommander) missions. This covers the first 5 missions, out of 15 in total. The timings for each level are shown below. There are a couple of districts where a full ghost playthrough has been recorded, so if you're after the Ghost achievement, this will help you out. The other districts don't have full playthroughs but stealthy kills are still shown for each commander.

  • Bunker District - 0:12
  • Subway District - 9:26
  • Harbour District - 15:38 (Ghost)
  • Ruins District - 24:05
  • Penthouse District - 32:02 (Ghost)

Ubercommander Missions - Roswell & Mesquite
The Ubercommander missions continue with the two Roswell missions plus the another trip to the old farmhouse stomping ground, which has been conveniently rebuilt as a film set. Although there are only three missions in this video there are a lot of collectibles to find. If you're just interested in the stealth kills, they are shown at the start of each mission. Timings for each level are shown below.

  • Roswell - Downtown 0:13
  • Roswell - Underground 9:44
  • Mesquite - Farmhouse Filmset 21:39

Ubercommander Missions - New Orleans
Four more ubercommanders bite the dust in this video as we do a sweep and clear of the the Big Easy. Also worth noting that the ram shackles can be obtained in one of these missions, if you didn't choose them in 'A New Body'. That means you will have all 3 contraptions if you've been following the guide and can upgrade all of them to get the 'Complete Package' achievement. Timings for each level are shown below:

  • The Wall district - 0:13
  • The Ghetto district - 9:35
  • Bienville Street district - 15:45
  • Lakeview district - 20:50

Ubercommander Missions - Venus + Riverside (secret final mission)
So here it is, the final part of the guide. Hope it was useful. Any feedback is welcome. Stay tuned for new guides and let's plays. Peace. Game played on 'Call me Terror-Billy' difficulty.

  • Venus - Habitat 0:13
  • Venus - Transporthalle 6:18
  • Venus - Oberkommando 12:21
  • New York - Riverside 17:50

Hmm well I did miss two of Max's toys and had to go back. They might have been included while killing the UCs? I fast forwarded through the stealth kills as you said in the guide that you do those then go back for the collectibles. Either way, just an attempt to help. Cheers.

@The Horror Network - thanks for your feedback. I don't entirely agree with your comments - I did show the trigger characters for the side missions for example, and clarified where they could be found. I thought that was enough info for players to find them, assuming they know their way around the ship. I didn't miss any of Max's toys either, every one of them is covered in the guide and you can see the achievement badge pop up when the last one is collected. You're right about the battle walkers however, that was missed since I chose them as my primary contraption.

I really had a hard time with this guide, several times I had to reload a save, backtrack extensively, or revisit a district. I appreciate the effort, but for the future I think you could benefit from organizing the collectibles more and including some information prior to showing one (IE: in the Uber missions, telling that certain side quests are triggered by X character before going in). For instance, you missed a few of Max' toys, and you would throw in random things like upgrades between stealth kills after saying that you rather get those things after doing the stealth kills; IE: I fast-forwarded through some upgrade parts because of this. You also didn't mention that you could get the Battle Walkers near the last upgrade, so it's missing that information.
