USCGC Liberty [WPB-1334] 110 Foot Island Class Patrol Boat

Wlecome aboard the USCGC Liberty, a replica of an Island-class cutter currently in service with the United States Coast Guard.

The island class has a really interesting history. Originally comissioned in 1985, to replace the Cape Class cutters, these 110 footer patrol boats were top of the line, and the USCG ordered 49 of them. These cutters performed at their peak up until 2002, where under the USCG's 'Integrated Deepwater System Program', they put 8 of them into refittings, adding 13 feet onto the end of the vessels, and also adding a stern launch ramp. The only reason this replica isn't one of these refit 8, is because, that refit caused damage beyond repair to the ship's keel. They started cracking, and all of them had to be taken out of service.

I didn't have access to the floorplan, so, I had to guess and take liberties of my own.

This replica is fitted with the following features:

Searchlights with a special "Search Mode"
