How to Wildling
By Slenderp123
The easiest class in the entirety of Vagante, I doubt you will ever need this guide, but for those wondering, this is a SUPER fun class to use if you feel like you're insisting on a fisting.

OVERVIEW
Wildling is the easiest class, as previously mentioned. He is an unlockable character and can be easily unlocked once you reach the Forrest area. There is also interesting information in the gamepedia of Vagante, in which the image (the one here that I took) is titled Unnamed_woman, however in the game, the skins and style of the Wildling appears to be male, so we will call Wildling a male. The Wildling is the only class that starts with absolutely nothing in their inventory and has 100 HP to start off.
CHARACTER AFFINITIES
Fist Weapon is the first character affinity set you can choose to unlock. Like the name explicitly states, it upgrades your use with fist weapons including: fists, Caestus, Claw, and Qatars. I usually start upgrading this once I am done upgrading most of Berserk.
Level 1 - Heavy Hit makes it so that stuns and knockbacks of your fist weapons (mentioned above) are increased, so enemies are stunned longer and are knocked back farther. This makes it fairly easy to take down enemies faster without fearing they will hit you back in no time.
Level 2 - Brawler makes it so you can change the direction of your attacks and use mixed directional attacks with more damage (i.e. when you're falling down on an enemy, you can combined down and left/right with the attack button and it deals more damage). I honestly dont have much of an opinion on this since I never found myself using mixed directional attacks, although extra damage is always good.
Level 3 - Pummel 1 is where things get JUICY. Basically, hold down the attack button and you send 2 rapid fists flying at your enemy dealing instant 2 hits of damage. This skill has 1 charge but they recharge extremely fast and can allow you to even plow through the zombies in the Catacombs with ease, even with a Caestus.
Level 4 and 5 Pummel 2 and 3 are basically upgrades to Pummel, except in 2, you have 2 charges which gives you 3 instant basic attacks and automatically triggers Berserk (since you need 3 successful hits on an enemy to trigger it), and Pummel 3 gives you 3 charges, giving you 4 instant hits. At this point, ANY enemy you see will ♥♥♥♥ themselves knowing that in the moment they blinked, all their friends died within 3 seconds of seeing you, and your ass is next.

Berserk is what makes Wildling, Wildling. I ALWAYS max this ability until level 4, in which I start upgrading Fist Weapon afterwards before finishing with level 5 after Fist Weapon is upgraded.
Level 1 - Berserker's Blood basically gives you Berserkitis, which requires you to have 3 successful attacks on an enemy to trigger, giving you bonus damage. Except unlike Berserkitis, there is NO cooldown between each berserk moment.
Level 2 - Pain Tolerance makes it so that while you are in Berserk, you take less damage. This is ESPECIALLY good since even the ZOMBIES in the catacombs are doing only 7-8 damage compared to probably 12 or even 16 by those walking hands.
Level 3 - Berserker's Blood 2 is where Wildling becomes overpowered. As if taking less damage while dealing more damage with your fists wasn't enough, now you LIFE STEAL when you punch enemies in berserk. Combine this with Pummel and using a Claw or even the Qatars, you become a monster who thirsts for blood and only the blood of his enemies.
Level 4 - Killing Bonus is even more rarted, it enforces the complete bloodlust Wildling NEEDS at this point. Basically, you kill someone, you get EXTRA damage. Monsters beware, this Wildling is out to tear your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WIDE open.
Level 5 - Berserker's Blood 3 is always good to take, it increases the effect of Berserk. So you can kill more things. In more time.

To be completely honest, I never found Animal to be much of use to me especially as a Berserk Wildling. While yes, you can be swarmed by enemies and it can give you breathing room, I honestly just prefer punching and pummeling everything in sight since they clear monsters FAST.
Level 1 - Lion's Roar makes it so you can unleash a roar that knocks back allies and enemies, but if either one of them say, hits a wall, they get hurt. Useful for giving yourself some breathing room.
Level 2 - Bear Stomp makes it so you can perform an aerial move to slam down and destroys the poor souls that you land on. It also negates fall damage, so you can just jump off a high ledge in the Rift, hope you land on ground, and slamma jamma whoever you fall on. I highly don't recommend doing that though.
Level 3 - Wolf's Sprint makes it so that you can double tap a directional arrow and you get the Super Speed buff essentially, but it also makes you invulnerable to pretty much every attack thrown at you. So it's pretty good if you're trying to escape a sticky situation.
COMPARISON TO OTHER CLASSES
Okay, let's start things off with a short version. Wildling is the EASIEST class to master compared to every other class, and the most powerful of them all due to the sheer amount of DPS being dished out by this guy and how highly sustainable he is when he gets Life Steal from Berserker's Blood 2. There is no stopping this guy. He utterly obliterates the competition.
MULTIPLAYER USE
Well, there's nothing really interesting about multiplayer Wildling. He is the sustainable damage dealer. A Mage can help him enchant his fist weapons and identify or mix his bad potions, but that's really all I can see since Knight's tankiness comes around later in the game while Wildling's sustainability comes in early, adding Berserk with Fist Weapons, maxed Sword Knight and Wildling can both utterly destroy their opponents with sheer DPS, but again, the Wildling outshines the Knight due to the way he is designed: an absolute self-sustaining wrecking ball that does not need regeneration potions, only Berserk. Rogue however, can work with Berserker by taking out targets from afar, or pulling off stealth shop robberies that can go wrong. Wildling will just walk up to that store owner and pulverize him into blood paste and pulp.
END
Apart from all the above, there's really nothing else to Wildling other than punching the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of your enemies, Fist of the North Star style, because that's basically all Wildling is, but that's perfectly okay. Wildling is definitely a fun and easy class to use, especially when you lean Frost Nova with this dude, because now you're hitting a stationary, frozen enemy that can't do anything but regret living at this point.

The nerf significantly impacted my gameplay for an extended period. It's truly disheartening. The game lost its viability for full close combat with bare hands due to the overpowered wildling build. :fardy:
