Welcome to Retromod! This is a multi-system emulator that allows you to play a wide range of retro games right in Garry's Mod! Retromod supports all NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, Sega Master System, Nintendo 64, and PlayStation One games. This uses BizHawk as the emulator "backend" and mirrors its display to a TV screen in Gmod using the Retromod client, which is required.

To get started:
1. Download this addon by clicking Subscribe above.
2. Head to https://ckosmic.github.io/retromod and download the Retromod bundle. This includes the client and BizHawk.
3. Extract the contents anywhere.
4. Install BizHawk's dependencies (bizhawk_prereqs.exe).
5. When that's done, run Retromod.exe. This will set up everything, and then press a key to exit.
6. Go to where ever your Garry's Mod installation directory is. It's commonly at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\data\retromod\roms and place your ROM files here.
7. Run Retromod.exe again, this time BizHawk will open.
8. Open Garry's Mod and spawn Retromod from Entities > Emulation > Retromod
9. Click Open ROM to choose a ROM and enjoy!
