The history of Counter-Strike (Abandoned)

Introduction

Hey guys, welcome to my guide. This guide was made to list every major moment/update from Counter-Strike's history, I'll try to list as many things that are mention-worthy.

Things you should know

I know that the updates for Counter-Strike Original and Counter-Strike: Source are a 1/20 of the guide, but I honestly couldn't find any other mention-worthy update that didn't add a map or weapon.

The 2011 chapter was made completely with the help of ESCalation's videos. The guide avatar was made by ESCalation, check his YouTube profile out Here

Since 1.6, fastswitching from AWP ( or scout ) to another weapon and back after a shot did not "cancel" the reload animation anymore ( read: the animation between 2 consecutive bullets without the magazin being empty ).
With 1.5 you could shoot 2 bullets in a faster rate by using this technique rather than not switching & having to wait till the reload time was done.

I think this is definitely worth mentioning in this guide since it changed the gameplay of snipers massively. Since then, players had to rely a lot more on their secondary weapon after a missed shot.

Cool guide though!
